I couldn't be happier after getting my dog back from WWRT's "Gun Dog" program. They took care of my dog like it was their own and were happy to answer all of my questions. Amazing people that provide fantastic results!
Very professional and clean boarding facility. I love that it's at the owners home so someone is always there with the dogs. Great people and extremely dog savvy and compassionate.

Our hyper 1 year old Labrador/Great Dane mut was tough to handle before Westwind! We were literally at our whits end with him—he was uncontrollable, we couldn’t walk him without constant pulling, couldn’t even have a conversation with neighbors without him barking for attention, not to mention the jumping on us & beginning to put paws on our counter tops! The 6-week in-home obedience training made me personally anxious but I was reassured by Sara & John when we dropped Cooper off and I saw the care & compassion they already had for him. We were all non-believers in changing this big pup’s behavior but he is leaps & bounds a different dog!! Sara & John did an amazing job training Cooper- he listens and responds to our commands! Turns out WE were doing it all wrong & they spent time working with us & Cooper to ensure a smooth transition. We can enjoy life with our pup now & even had a 30 minute conversation outside with our neighbors upon first arrival home without any barking nor knocking the kids down! By far the best training & obedience we could’ve ever asked for. Life is so enjoyable now!
Great place, awesome people! If you need to board or train your dog with trusty and professional people, westwind retrievers is the place you are looking for. My lab coconut enjoyed her two weeks stay there and was well taken care of! I definitely recommend this place and will for sure go back there!
