West Michigan K9

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Both of our dogs took part in the 4 week Stay and Train program this past February. Our one dog, Carly, struggled with reactivity and anxiety from a prior home. I felt lost with her reactivity, so I looked into training options and West Michigan K9 was the first to pop up. We thought our other dog, Harvey, could also benefit from overall obedience training. Our trainer, Nick, was amazing to work with and always answered our questions. It was fun to receive videos and reports every week and know what they were working on. Alongside her obedience training, Carly got to work her specific needs: resource guarding and reactiveness. Both dogs have progressed immensely since their stay and follow-up. We continue to train with them every day, as required. I can tell that both dogs are much more confident after this program. We recently moved, therefore being able to stay consistent with training has reduced their pushing of boundaries and anxiety. I'll finish with this: all of the West Michigan K9 staff goes above and beyond to make sure your dogs are thriving!!!

The staff is very professional, knowledgable and very helpful. Took my Cane Corso for evaluation. Dawson was skilled and gave me tools to use in training. Page and Jaime also helped assure our experience was a positive one. Told everyone in our dog community about our positive experience. Looking forward to working with them in the very near future. We brought our two dogs to WMK9 while we went on vacation for a week and it was an Amazing experience! Our youngest dog did the two week stay and train and what a difference it made! The staff were great and easy to work with. Their communication during the two week period was awesome. From videos of his progress and a daily report card explaining what was done and how our dog was progressing. It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE and would highly recommend them! Thank you!
