Webster's Dog Training

In just 2 weeks Gordon has done an outstanding job teaching me and my strong, strong willed, high energy rescue Bernedoodle. Before training, he took all commands as optional and pulled hard on walks. I implemented hours of Youtube tutorials without seeing the success I needed. Gordon got the leash pulling under control on day 1, and making quick progress other issues. It feels like now I have a communication with my Dog that I never thought possible. Gordon's program creates a rewarding incentive structure for the dog that feels more for him like a playful challenge than a battle of wills. I am much more at ease with him around dogs and other people, and anticipate a good canine citizen very soon. Gordon is always on time. The sessions are always full of great content. Each session is packed full of knowledge transfer for the dog and the owner. He is passionate about what he does, and answers questions anytime.

To put it simply, Gordon is AMAZING! I have enjoyed working with him from the very beginning, starting with our initial phone consultation. He was such a calm and positive presence for both me and, most importantly, my dog, who lacked confidence and calmness around other dogs and humans. Gordon showed me just how amazing my dog could be when given the right tools, leadership, and direction. After each session, he provided me with homework, which I found extremely helpful. The homework included a detailed breakdown of everything we covered in our one-hour session, along with guidance on how to continuously practice it with my dog. (and boy was my furry girl always tired after having so much fun training .😴😴 ) This has been such a rewarding learning and growth experience for both me and my dog, and we cannot wait to continue the work. This is just the beginning, and I now have a strong foundation to support my dogs ongoing progress. Although our obedience training has officially come to an end, I’m so glad Gordon will remain a resource and I have all the tools I need to continue training at home. We’re even planning future check-ins to track her progress, and he’ll be accompanying me to my dog’s first Dog PPL assessment—a moment where I’ll be grateful for his professional support.
