We had an amazing experience working with Gordon. He took the time to thoroughly educate us on how to properly use an e collar in a way that is completely dog friendly and centered around clear communication, not punishment. We were initially hesitant, but he explained everything step by step, including proper timing, appropriate levels, and how to read our dog’s behavior, which made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the process. Since working with Gordon, we have seen a huge improvement in our dog’s responsiveness and overall confidence, and it has actually strengthened our relationship with our dog. It is clear he genuinely cares about the well being of the dogs he works with. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for effective, humane training methods.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Gordon. From day one, he’s been incredibly reliable - always early to sessions and comes straight to my house, which makes everything so much easier. He’s polite, respectful, and just really easy to be around. Both my puppy Bodie, and I feel completely comfortable with him, which I think says a lot. What I appreciate most is how honest and direct he is. He’s very clear about what Bodie needs from me and what I need to be doing to set him up for success. It’s not fluff - it’s actually useful, actionable guidance that’s made a big difference. He also sends hand written notes summarizing each session, in order for me to continue the training throughout the week. He also doesn’t just train your dog and leave. He takes the time to explain and demonstrate everything first, then has me practice it myself while he watches and gives real-time feedback. That part has been huge for me, because I actually understand what I’m doing now and how to be consistent with Bodie. I’ve already seen a lot of progress, and I feel way more confident handling different situations with him. Even my parents and friends have noticed such a difference and Bodie is barely 5 months old. We recently added an adorable, and future giant ,9 week old boxer puppy to our family and I wanted some expert help molding him into the best he can be. I have had many boxers and know the importance of training so they can grow up to be happy and well behaved family and community members. We decided on Gordon Webster of Websters Dog Training after our conversation on the phone, which was easy and very informative. Gordon provides “ Puppy Management “ for puppies as young as eight weeks old and my puppy Theo and I are both having a great time. Theo loves learning and working and so do I. Not only are we both learning but strengthening our bond as well . Gordon organizes the Training Program into eight one hour sessions, spread over four weeks. We were given a Puppy Progress Tracker for us to follow along during the training sessions .This lays out the content of the training program that your we will follow. There’s a lot of content!! Gordon takes the time to weave a lot of fun into his programs as well, but they have a serious function - building competence and confidence. In our recent session Gordon had Theo walking over aluminum foil and parchment paper. He needed to experience the new and strange sounds and textures and be okay with them. Next there was seeking food rewards in and around bottles of water - so to reach the food he had to knock the bottles of water over and remain calm while he ate them. Because Theo is still a baby, he isn’t allowed to go on walks in the neighborhood yet and experience all these new stressors, it’s really important to me that he have foundation and confidence when we finally can experience the “real world”. Our session ended with an enrichment puzzle that was full of great rewards. Theo jumped all over it, pushing, sniffing and clawing at it with his paws. He had a great time.!! I love learning my role in Theo’s education as much as he loves learning. It’s been great and invaluable for both of us.
