Gordon is a great trainer who genuinely loves dogs. He taught us so much about our newly adopted Aussiedoodle which really helped us be more patient and manage our expectations as new owners. He’s very easy to work with, and our dog loved seeing him each session. She responded very well to him as we worked together to train her on a number of obedience commands. The training (and reinforcement after our sessions ended) has helped our pup feel more comfortable and confident living with a new family and integrating with our routines. Best of all is the relationship Gordon builds with his clients and dogs. He’s available by text / phone to provide advice even after the official sessions are done. I highly recommend Gordon for your dog training needs!

We can’t recommend Gordon enough! We were looking for a balanced trainer to help us work through some behavioral challenges with our 3 year old 70 pound female doodle and prepare before we welcome our first baby this fall, and we so grateful we found him. He’s incredibly thoughtful and organized, and he really helps train you (the human) too. We learned so much about dog psychology and have a better bond with our pup because of it. We saw quick improvements, especially as we honored our homework and really took his recommendations to heart (bringing back the crate was a game changer). Our only regret is not finding him sooner and working with him through the puppy phase. We’d highly recommend him to anyone seeking training - at any stage, for any issue or just to have a better relationship with your dog. He’s truly great at what he does and takes great care to ensure you get your time and moneys worth.

We had a really great experience working with Gordon. We did four weeks of twice-weekly private sessions focused on obedience and reactivity, and saw meaningful improvement in our dog’s behavior over that time. I especially appreciated that the training was as much about teaching me how to work with my dog as it was about working with the dog directly. We came away with a much better understanding of how to continue reinforcing the training on our own, which made the sessions feel useful well beyond the time we spent together. Gordon was consistently punctual, very responsive, respectful of our time, and generous with both his time and resources. Early on, he was also happy to let us use various training equipment while we figured out what worked best and obtained our own. Overall, I found his approach practical, thoughtful, and realistic. I would strongly recommend Webster’s Dog Training to anyone looking for individualized training and clear guidance they can continue using at home.

My 5 month old Bernadoodle, Mack and I, have been working with Gordon of Websters Dog Training for 4 weeks and Mack is obsessed with Gordon. Seeing how happy my puppy is during training makes every penny worth it. Gordon just also really cares about dogs and dog psychology. He has taught me and my little puppy a lot and the growth I’ve seen in my puppy is amazing. Gordon organizes his sessions to flow sequentially, so each session is designed to grow upon the information presented in the previous session. We started with Sit, Down, Up and Stand. These commands are essential for future Wait & Stay Commands. This was followed up by Watch and Leave it. We moved on with Crate Conditioning and then added the Wait Command and Threshold Control. Once we got the inside stuff down, we moved our sessions outside. My only advice is make sure you have the time to commit to doing the training exercises outside of the sessions. This way you and your pup will get the most out of the next session. Your dog regardless will learn a lot but you and your dog will get so much more out of it if you do the work outside of class! Again, my puppy LOVES Gordon and I bet yours would too! Highly recommend Gordon of Webster’s dog training. :)

In such a short time we have seen an incredible change in our dog. The methods, preparation and communication systems that Gordon has put in place have paid noticeable dividends in no time, and with the proper preparation and homework, we are seeing rapid and effective changes in our dogs’ behavior. Class recommended for owners willing to actually put in the time. It is not in the hour with Gordon that real changes are made, but in the regular every day application of his systems that changes are noticeably effective. 10/10 would recommend.
