We Are One K9 Training

I was having trouble dealing with my escape artist Shiba Inu, Cody (3 yrs old), who took every chance he could to run out the door or dig under my fence. Then he would run down the block and go crazy, absolutely impossible to catch! Terrible recall and general stubbornness So I reached out to Mariann and did a 3-week board and train and WOW what a world of a difference! I went from thinking I could never let go of this dogs leash to being able to walk him around my neighborhood with no leash at all! He listens to everything I say and follows me when necessary. Near perfect recall and heel. Completely calm in the car traveling to and from places. I cannot thank Mariann enough for all the wonderful work she did with him!! Absolutely 100% recommend this training for dog owners

We had such an amazing experience with Mariann! Our dog Willow is a 3 year old Rescue that is scared of her own shadow. Going on walks was a nightmare as she would pull me down the street and I’d have to run back inside. Mariann was so patient with her and showed Willow how to walk by my side and listen to commands. Willow is so much more relaxed to we are one k9 and i couldn’t be more thankful for them giving her life back. She now enjoys the day to day rather than just hiding inside.

We sent Roxie to WAOK9 in December 2023, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Although Roxie came into our lives from an abusive family, she still had so much love to give. She is SUPER friendly and always bee-lined to strangers, which made walks a bit of a hassle. She also had an obsession with squirrels. After three weeks with Mariann, Roxie has become the best version of herself! She no longer indulges her hunter instincts or tries to make new friends without our green-light. She is so calm and listens to commands so well, even when the e-collar isn't on. But we understand that training didn't end after the 3 weeks and continue to work with Roxie, of course. We also struggled with Roxie escaping the house, and eating her poop (a habit she acquired from her previous family, locking her in closets and not feeding her). Through training, we've been able to work with Roxie and avoid this behavior. My favorite aspect about WAOK9 are the Instagram updates. I was nervous about sending Roxie away, but her posts gave me a peace of mind. I was so proud to see Roxie's progress along the way. Mariann would sometimes provide advice in her posts, so they were educational to watch! Side notes: I've gotten so many compliments on how well-behaved Roxie is when we go on walks! It makes me smile every time. Everyone also loves the e-collar light!

Beatrice went to Mariann to learn how to be a good big sister in November and came back a happy, confident, and content pup! Bea was struggling with a lot of anxiety that came out in frantically running around the house looking for anything to get into. She was reactive, even though friendly, to any dog, human, or squirrel we passed on our walk. She was pulling continuously. After spending time with Mariann she came home a confident, content, and relaxed dog. She loves to have her moments of play, followed by relaxing on her own place. She can walk past any dog or situation and be fully focused on me. She doesn’t pull at all, and enjoys her free time all the more. Mariann helped my dog to learn to make good choices, and built upon her puppy training. Bea now chooses to relax and enjoy life! With the addition of a baby this spring, I know that Bea has the tools she needs to be a great big sister!
