I can't say enough good words about Scott and his training program. He is not only experienced and intelligent when it comes to dog behavior but is also a joy to work with! He makes training fun and his enthusiasm radiates to you and your pup. He gives clear instructions on what you need to work on and is dedicated to you and your dogs success. I drive across state lines to train with Scott! He is absolutely amazing and my only regret is that I live too far away.

Scott was wonderful! He is a credit to his profession. If you are looking for a trainer for your dog you don't have to look any farther, you have found the expert you are looking for. I got his number from an acquaintance (Thank goodness!) and he came to our house. I interviewed several different people prior but felt their training approach was not what I was looking for. Scott started with the basics, and every session we accomplished so much. His approach is very good, he prompts the dog to chose to do what you are asking because they want to, not because of fear, or submission. This is really the new age of training. I would definately recommend him to anyone for training. He really knows his stuff. He is very good at training and coaching the owners how to work with their dog. He is also very adaptable, working with his client to accomplish their goals, realizing every situation, owner, and dog are different. His knowledge and experience are extensive. Our dog is 3 now and thanks to the good foundation he helped us set she is a great, well behaved, sweet dog.

Cannot recommend Scott enough. 💚 Scott is incredibly intelligent with vast knowledge regarding dog training and, importantly, understands that it's not 'one size fits all'. He is forever working to expand his knowledge base and knows that dog training is an ever changing science. He molds the training plan to the dog and owner. What I especially love about him is that he asks you to put into words what issues you might be having or what you'd like to work on. It truly is a team effort between the owner, the dog and him, the trainer. Not just someone telling you what to do and asking you to blindly follow along. If you have questions or potential ideas you'd like to bounce off of him, he is more than receptive. To top it off, he's a genuinely kind and caring person who pours his heart into his love for training. Very easy to chat (& laugh!) with. For those considering or currently involved in dog sports, particularly ringsport, taking the opportunity to train with Scott is a must! Safety of the dog should always be top priority of both the handler and the decoy. This is, without a doubt, his top concern. Reasons to work with Scott, to name a few: safely catches dogs, understands their body language, knows when & how much pressure to apply, fantastic with puppies & building them, knows the French ring exercises inside and out, has awesome ways of teaching each exercise that are so simple that handlers go home with homework, the list just goes on and on. Bottom line, if you have the chance to work with him, DO IT! We love him so much that we fly him in to south Texas whenever we can. Wire and Ess will be here waiting for the next time! 🦄🦊
