I have a very energetic lab (with some anxiety and separation issues) and Tess did a wonderful job working with him and all of his quirks and challenges! She went above and beyond what normally comes with a sleep-away training experience, and she made sure to keep me informed and updated multiple times throughout the day. When my pup wouldn't eat, because of his separation and anxiety issues, Tess made him special food and worked really closely and patiently with him to get him comfortable and feeling safe. She cares so much for the animals she is working with, and its very apparent in the way the dogs respond and trust her. Not only does she work with the dogs, but she spends time with the pet-parents as well! I think training me was even more of a challenge than training my fur baby! But she was patient, informative, and helped me learn some of the basic commands and expectations to continue the training and practice at home. I highly recommend Vivid Dog Training and their amazing services to anyone needing a little help with their fur baby!

Tess was wonderful to work with while training our golden retriever. He struggled with resource guarding, and Tess was able to completely resolve the behavioral issues we were experiencing. She’s an excellent communicator and incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of dog training. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend her.

My dog Pepper and I have been with Tess for years. She is an outstanding person and trainer. Pepper received obedience training and service dog training. She is an amazing dog. Boarding with her is awesome too because Tess takes care of your animals like they are her own. She truly has a passion for animals and helping others. I couldn’t recommend vivid more!

Tess is a fantastic trainer! Im so happy a friend referred us to her. We had been having behavioral issues with our boy, and she helped us regain control of Jagger. I couldn't recommend her enough. She's firm, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. We've had training and boarding with her. I fully trust her with my baby!
