Vivid Dog Training

Vivid Dog Training came to us as a recommendation. Our labradoodle is a big boy and he didn't realize he could hurt someone with his excited and jubilant display to any and all visitors. He would not listen or calm down. I was struggling with mobility issues and was afraid of being drug when walking or pulled down unexpectedly. The training gave us complete control of our environment. We didn't want to change our pets wonderful personality. He trusts us completely and we can trust him. We are able to walk him on a loose leash, no harness, and he responds to commands he was taught. People have asked us how is your doodle staying put when they come into our home. It feels great having confidence in our sweet cuddly and sometimes wild boy. He plays hard and has a wonderful life and when we need control we have control. The training gave us what we needed. The trainer was phenomenal and our sweet boy loves her and so do we!

I breed golden retrievers and I wanted to have several of my dogs trained for obedience. Vivid Dog Training did an amazing job with both of my dogs. They stopped jumping on people, learned place and many other things to make them easy to live with. And I love that Vivid uses positive reinforcement in their training. Hello! My name is Andrew and I am an Army veteran. I went to Afghanistan and because of some things I experienced I was diagnosed with severe PTSD. I moved back home to North Carolina and had issues reintegrating back into civilian society. I struggled to go out in public and socialize with others and found myself isolating and dealing with mental health issues. I started looking for what my options were when it came to getting a service dog. I met Tess and came for an interview. Within a matter of just a few weeks I was paired with who would be came my best friend and partner in life. I met Remmy for the first time when he was a puppy and was able to be very involved with his training and we bonded through that process. I have had him for 4 years now and my life has improved dramatically. He was trained in deep pressure therapy to help me when I have anxiety attacks and other issues. He is the most well trained dog I have ever had and he does great with my family and goes with me to work everyday. He has become the companion I needed to help me get my life back and begin moving forward n in my life. Tess did an outstanding job at training Remmy and trained me on how to continue his training.
