What sets Tess apart is her commitment to pairing the right dog with the right person. She is honest about a dog’s behavior and equally clear about how a handler’s actions influence the relationship. This is not a quick placement. It is intentional and focused on long-term success. We spent several weeks learning, bonding, and training with Slash before full placement. At the time, I underestimated how valuable that process would be. Looking back, it made all the difference. Slash has been with us for a few years and continues to perform at a high level. He provides grounding, anxiety interruption, night routine support, situational awareness, and constant companionship. He is highly disciplined, follows both verbal and hand commands, and remains calm and focused in public around people and other animals. Tess remains involved long after placement. When we travel, she boards Slash and runs refresher training with him. She is always available for guidance, and it is clear that the dog’s well-being comes before profit. I truly appreciated her disciplined, personal approach. Slash has become an essential part of daily life, and that is a direct result of Tess’s integrity and care. Tess has been such a wonderful resource to my husband and me! We would highly recommend her dog training services to those looking. Our dog, Ollie, is a highly energetic and mischievous Lab and Vizsla mix. He benefitted greatly from the board and train program, as well as refresher sessions. Tess is so easy to communicate with if we have any questions, and we really value her emphasis on education with the owners. As an added bonus, Ollie loves staying with her when we go on vacation! Tess is an experienced, knowledgeable, capable, and loving trainer. We are so lucky to have her.

Tess is a more than amazing dog trainer. She can teach your dog anything from basic commands to more advanced trained like service dog trained. I got a trained service dog from her (Everest) and she is such an amazing dog and help to me. I don't know what I would do without either of them. After I received my service dog my family saw what an amazing trainer she was and so they sent our house dog to her as-well. Bernie (our house dog) is one of the most house dogs you have meet, he is sweet, kind, a great cuddle bug but was never the best at the "manners" or "ability" to listen to basic commands. We sent him to her for a week or two while we where on vacation and she taught him basic commands that help him be an even better house dog. I want to say as much as I love Bernie and he is an amazing dog, he is not the most intelligent. He flunked out of petco's training because he was just not good a figuring anything out, so I have NO IDEA how she taught I'm as much as she was able to in just a few days. I highly recommend her for training a dog for anything from basic house commands, to agility or service dog training.
