FirstBarkTess did a wonderful job blending best practices and practicality when working with my family and our golden retriever puppy. We have owned dogs over the years but never a golden retriever. She helped us to better understand the breed and feel more confident providing structure and consistency while also noticing and rewarding positive behavior.

We had a wonderful experience with Tess. We used the board and train program and our Golden Retriever was like a new dog. She was so patient and worked with us afterwards so we were comfortable continuing her training. She was great at communicating with us and sent us many updates throughout the program. I highly recommend Tess and her team!!!

Tess completely turned things around with my service dog, Doc. After dealing with another company that didn’t train him correctly, she stepped in and fixed it the right way. She took her time, paid attention to what I actually needed, and made sure Doc was trained to perform exactly for my situation. No shortcuts. What really stands out is how much she cares—about the dog and about doing things the right way. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in her work. I trust Tess 100% and wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. If you need training or even just a refresher, she’s the one to go to.
Tess is amazing! Loved the constant updates from Tess while our dog was getting trained. She worked with us a lot during and after the training was finished to make sure we understood how to keep all the new skills reinforced at home. I can't recommend Tess enough! You can tell she really cares and loves what she does! 5⭐️
