Vital K9 Training & Boarding

Abigail helped us so much with our very reactive dog! We did private lessons as well as a 2 week board and train and our dog gained so much confidence and obedience! Abigail was always available to answer questions and worked so well with our dog. We unfortunately had to move out of state, but Abigail even helped us find another trainer in our new city to continue working with our girl! I would highly recommend her and Vital K9! They are wonderful!

Abigail is AMAZING! We started private lessons back in April with our 2 very stubborn and opinionated Siberian Huskies.(They would rip your arms out of socket if you even mentioned the word “walk”)They both have learn so much in such a short amount of time and that’s all thanks to Abigail. Abigail was very attentive to our concerns and questions and was able to really give us answers as to why our huskies are the way they are. She was able to observe them and figure out quickly what was the cause for their bad behavior and how we could quickly correct it. She also helped focus on each one of our dogs’ needs. I absolutely recommend Vital K9 for your dog training needs, they have made such a positive impact in our lives.

Abigail is the best! She is a dog whisperer. It's strange how the training works but it definitely does! I have always thought that dogs should understand and respond the way we(humans) do but they definitely do not. Our pups just want to please us. She helped me understand this. My dog would fight with other dogs, pull your arm out of socket and bark at anyone coming to the house. She now responds to commands, walks with a loose leash and is so different. Is she perfect? Of course not, but at least I now have a foundation to work from. The training does work but it's not magic. You have to put in the homework. Abigail is however very responsive to any questions you may have going forward. Nugget her beautiful golden retriever is also a cool addition she brings along for the sessions also.

We got our Shiba Inu in October of 2020. Having a family dog in my childhood, I understood basics of pup training but soon realized I needed a bit more advice and help. I connected with Abagail and has her come in for five private lessons. Boo, our Shiba, immediately took to Abagail and responded to her commands. Abagail took time as with any pup, let alone a Shiba Inu, patience is key. Over the course of a couple months with private sessions, we learned from Abagail how to reinforce the lessons she was teaching Boo and life got easier with an active Shiba pup. Later we felt we wanted more training for Boo to be able to go out for walks or to retail stores where dogs are allowed and for Boo to follow our commands and not just go her own way. We sent Boo with Abagail for the two weeks Boot Camp (We called it 'Boo' Camp) and when the two weeks were completed, I could not believe how well managed Boo had become in public settings and at home. Abagail followed up after Boo camp with another visit to help me reinforce what Boo had learned. I highly recommend Abagail for any and all training. Abagail is kind, patient, firm, and extremely loving to all her canine clients...and a pleasure to get to know and be around us humans, too. Thank you Abagail!
