Very good dog training taught me how to connect to my dog in a way he would understand and completely transformed both our lives! He is a completely different dog in the best way! He now listens, follows commands and calms down. I can’t thank them enough for the excellent teaching and support throughout this process.

We had an amazing experience working with Chris from Very Good Dog Training. Our dog went from being an anxious dog who'd bark non stop at all of our visitors to a dog who can calmly lay in her crate when people are over. Plus she learned to stay and come back to us when called! It's a life changer for us. I highly recommend them!

Our work with Stephen and Chris to reboot our 3 year-old German Shepherd’s training is one of the best decisions we’ve made. Our dog is calm and relaxed now, rather than anxious and stressed — the improvements in our dog-owner relationship has increased the quality of life of our entire household. 100% worth every penny. I just finished the full 2 month training with my 6 year old pit-bull Gustavo. Gustavo had very HIGH anxiety and energy from being abused in his early life. He would go absolutely crazy if he saw another dog, someone come over to the house, or see an animal on TV. Stephen was great with dealing with Gustavo’s craziness and introducing all new commands to him. Chris was great with the E-collar training as well. The transition to the E-collar wasn’t the smoothest, but Chris kept giving tips on how to get the collar to connect with Gustavo and everything he said worked. Gustavo has had surgery on both of his back legs and through all the training Stephen and Chris were mindful of his legs and made sure he didn’t overwork them. I will absolutely recommend VGDT to anybody looking for a trainer. Great experience.
