I had read great reviews so I decided to send our Dog to him for a boot camp. When we arrived, I was surprised to see that the dogs live in kennels outdoors. No grass. Just dirt. It was incredibly hot too. Our dog’s (puppy at the time) problem was not coming when called and jumping up on people. They put our next to a huge violent dog with significant issues who was not allowed to interact with other dogs or humans. He assured me, he wouldn’t leave our dog with him. But he did. I truly believe our dog was traumatized and has never been the same since. He is scared of other big Dogs now and whimpers when we go to out the training collar on. I feel horrible wondering what he went through. He came home dirty and scared. He is 25 lbs and extremely docile. I would never recommend or use this company again. We trained out dog without his methods and prefer that. Not to mention, we had him install an e-fence around our yard that broke and when I asked about warranty or repair, he simply stated he doesn’t do that anymore. I had to call another company and buy an entirely new system.
We would highly recommend Utah K9 Training. Very friendly, helpful, affordable and very professional. Our whole family has learned proper dog training skill which has made a world of difference in our home. We are happy large dog owners and I give Utah K9 training ALL the credit.
Previously I went to dog training and it was useless. I needed one on one training from someone who new what they were doing. Mike explained everything in a way that made total sense. Each week we worked on something different, I loved his style of teaching. I can't recommend Mike enough. Thanks for giving me the tools and training my dog and me. Rose J
Working with mike to train my year old corgi to get some more ways to get him to be more well behaved and will return to him for more training
