Utah Bird Dog Training provides professional bird dog and obedience training in Payson, Utah, backed by nearly 20 years of experience. We train retrievers, pointing dogs, and family dogs through structured board-and-train programs, from puppy foundations and obedience to advanced upland and waterfowl training. Our goal is to develop reliable, confident dogs that perform in the field and are enjoyable to live with at home. We work with dog owners throughout Utah and across the West.

We sent him to UTBDT at around 18 months due to some problems he was developing. Boy did they turn him around. I have had him out a few times since picking him up last week and he is a different dog. So much more enjoyable to hunt with. We are really excited to continue to learn to handle him and watch him work.
It’s also nice to know that if you ever have any training issues or questions, they encourage you to contact them so they can help you to ensure you are getting the most out of your dog.
I would definitely recommend UTBDT for your training needs. It was a great experience.

We took our 1 year old English Pointer to UBDT to get her ready for this fall. I can't say enough good things about Tyce, Ian and the rest of the trainers. Our dog had been with us for about 9 months and we had some basic at home training with her, but she is a handful. We have her back now and she is doing so well. Her recall, steadiness and hunting instincts have grown and she matured in other ways as well. We are very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Trainers were amazing! They trained my cavapoo for 2 months and she is so well behaved. I love the program, love the trainers! So happy with my choice! Sending my other two dogs for training now because it was so successful!
