I sent my male Doberman Pincher here when he was only 6 months old and full of uncontrollable energy 😂. Ian was the poor guy that had to train my bundle of energy. So sorry😂. But he did an awesome job. In 2 months time he was able to get Milo under control and listening to commands. During the process they would stay in contact and send regular updates on Milo's progress. When we came to pick Milo up, they went thru all the training and commands with us and even had us work with Milo right there so we had it down. They are very patient with the dogs and us, taking the time to make sure we understood everything. I waited a couple months to write this review because i wanted to see how things would go after the training. I couldn't be any happier. Milo still has all that puppy energy however were able to control it now. He is a very well mannered dog. I can walk him without a leash even around other people and animals. I highly recommend that you go with Utah Bird Dog training.
Jeff was the trainer who worked with our boy Bo and I can't say enough good about the experience we had. A lot of updates with pictures and progress reports. Very professional and easy to work with. When we picked Bo up, it was pretty easy to see how much Jeff cares about the dogs he is working with. Will definitely be sending another dog to them in the future.
My 6 month old GSP Female boarded and trained for three months with the UBDT team Aug through Oct 2025. I been hunting 3 times this fall on my own. She pointed retreived 14 birds.
Tyce and his team came highly recommended by multiple friends. I was hesitant to leave my Griff with a new person. After our experience we will 100% have our dogs back with UTBDT in the future.
