I didn’t feel I was being informed enough of the situation with each of my dogs.
Business response
Hey Jason, thanks for the review. I am sorry you feel that you were not informed enough. From the first day clients drop off their dogs we give you an information sheet that spells out that every other week that we give you an update on your dog via text and a picture. I believe we did that. Also, we tried calling a couple times to talk to you about your dogs, but would just get a text response back. That made it harder to describe in detail how your dogs were responding to the training. If you needed more information than the updates that were given about your dog you were welcome to reach out anytime to myself Tyce with any questions that you have or to any of my trainers. On that paper it has all of our cell phones. Your labs were tricky to train with their unique personalities. When the first one washed out of training due to lack of drive we were up front as possible with the dog, but also wanted to do all we could in the time we had the animal to try to make it the best we could. We felt it was not worth trying to turn the dog into something it did not love to do and did not want you putting anymore money into the animal, if it was just not going to be a good hunting dog for you. Buster started out okay and then overtime with the gunfire just lost interest in birds hunting due to lack of drive. Started out okay, but then just could not get that good forward momentum. Kala should be a good dog for you and has decent drive. Follow through, be patient with her and you should have some good hunts with her in the future. Again, sorry you felt that way, communication is big for us here and we feel like we do our best to communicate that with our clients. Hope that you have some great hunts and adventures with Kala in the future!! If you have any training questions as your work her now or into the future, please don't hesitate to reach out for help. Thanks!
