After raising two chocolate labs who had lived through ages of 12 and 13, I thought I "knew a lot" until an 8-week old lab came into our lives - in weeks to come, what was envisioned as CUTE and ADORABLE at first quickly turned into relentless barking when spooked by the tiniest sound....or digging into 4x4 all paws during walks....or aggressive stare down on strangers as if looking for a fight ... or acting as if others weren't permitted into public dog parks ... or scaring Amazon delivery folks from ringing door bell ... or rattling his cage like a 600-lbs lion should anyone come visit the house ... it was mentally and physically exhausting ... Physically, this 70-lbs lab, Roka, is a cutie pie which invites a lot of attention from strangers; therefore, it was even more important and of a greater responsibility as parents to ensure his bad behaviors were broken or minimized. Scott was introduced by our vet, and he had immediately made a difference. He taught us how best to work with Roka in our everyday activities. He was patient in explaining underlying thought processes from Roka's perspective, and we use his techniques everyday. His method is no magic, and requires work and consistency. Roka and his human parents are making small progress each time, and we will continue to apply our leaning into our future. We recommend Scott to anyone who wants to learn how best to work with any dogs with or without issues.

The experience with Scott Schaffer was a tremendous help to a foster/rescue taken on January 2021. Domino was extremely traumatized and ill with heart worms. I reached out to Scott to make sure I was equipped to handle the situation to a positive outcome for him.. The most important thing I learned for my particular situation was PATIENCE and positive reinforcement so that I did not continue to "hardwire" fear behavior in an already severely traumatized animal. That knowledge and understanding alone was worth the money. It reaffirms that the people more than the animal need to be educated. Additionally, you have to be committed for results. I will continue to reach out to Scott in the future as needed.

Scott is a professional, licensed, great, dog behaviorist. He can spot the problems needing attention and he gets right on it with hands on dog training, videos to watch once you are home, along with handouts to help you remember what you learned in the lesson. He is sooo kind, so knowledgable, he truly helped us with our two male dogs, he is such a blessing to us. He makes it so simple!!!!!!! Can't say enough great things about Scott and his training techniques!!!

I attempted to reach out & they’re automatic voicemail system gave me instructions to leave certain information to receive a call back on the number specified. I, instead, got a very systematic text message sent with no useful information from the same phone number. If you don’t want business, just say that in the initial message. Don’t bother trying to schedule here. I am not bitter, but genuinely trying to warn. If you don’t believe me, try calling and see what I’m talking about. Go with someone else! 🤗
