FirstBarkWe have used Unleashed for two trips totaling over 30 days. I cannot say enough kind words about Darren and Hayley. One of our dogs is reactive and the other is scared of everything. Unleashed took the time to make our dogs comfortable at their own pace. Now when we drop them off they are so excited they don’t even look back at us! Great facility and great people. Highly recommend.

With over 30 years of combined experience, our private in-home boarding is the way to go! Darren & Hayley grew up with dogs; Boxers and Boston Terriers and both of us have been in the boarding and pet care industry. We both have backgrounds in dog training; specifically working with fear, anxiety and reactivity together with many years of rescue and rehabilitation work. Unleashed was designed and created by lifelong dog lovers, dog trainers and animal advocates!

We have been taking our dog Roman to Haley & Darren since he was a puppy 5 years ago, he's always been very timid & nervous around other dogs & away from home. Haley & Darren have done a great job with him, he's not nervous when being dropped off & happy to go in. It's a great facility with plenty of room for the dogs to run & play. Another perk is when he's picked up he doesn't need a bath he's as clean as when dropped off. Great place highly recommended!
Unleashed worked perfect for our two dogs. Having an older lab we often worry about leaving her, but she did great here. Our dogs will definitely be back for another stay!

Very bizarre experience boarding our dogs here for nine days. Two months before our planned trip I hopped on a call with the owner who assured me that they were well equip to deal with my reactive German Shepherd as they train police dogs. I spent about half an hour explaining her behaviors and back story. Upon drop off we reiterated to the owners spouse that our dog could be a handful and is a typical crazy GSD. She also assured my husband and I that they would be fine. 24 hours after drop off I was texted if someone in the area could pick up my dog because she needs help and to set up one on one trainings. Being that we were in Alaska and had no family local, we called immediately and informed them that if we needed to return from our trip to let us know as we would cancel our cruise and hop on the next flight home. The following day we got reports of all being okay so we proceeded to take our trip. Upon pick up, they acted as if nothing had happened and when I asked if my GSD was better behaved after the initial text regarding her needing to be picked up, they said yup everything was fine. They even had their small children handling our GSD which we thought was strange as they wanted someone to pick her up a week prior. My two dogs were happy and healthy upon pick up so I am very grateful for that, but disheartened over the experience, especially after reading the wonderful reviews and speaking to the owner back in May. It was a holiday weekend so take my review with a grain of salt but next time we’ll just bring our dogs along for the adventure as we normally do.
