Unique Souls Canine Training

We've had mixed to negative experiences with other trainers in the past for our two dogs (one overly-friendly to the point we were worried he'd get himself hurt, and the other extremely timid and fear-based reactive - total opposites really). We took each dog through Gigi and Mark's 5-week reactivity training course, and this was exactly what we needed: patience, meeting the dogs' (and owners') individual needs, specific things to work on at home, and a positive reinforcement approach. Georgette and Mark are great with my big Great Pyrenees, Dallas. I am not used to this breed, they are independent thinkers and mine is a daydreamer- I struggle to keep him engaged in training and Unique Souls has been great at tailoring their program to each dog in the class to achieve success in training. From the dog reactive, to the hyper active, to the stubborn I’ve watched them aid owners in changing their dogs behavior and mastering new skills. They are very attentive to everyone in the class and are quick to problem solve and suggest different tactics if a dog is not getting what is being asked of them. I will continue to move up thru the different levels of obedience with Dallas and with the help of Unique Souls I plan to make him into a therapy dog, visiting hospitals to share my gentle giant with others. I am confident he will get there with the help of Georgette and Mark.

I can’t say enough about Gigi and Mark! We just completed AKC Star and are now in Pre-CGC on a therapy dog track. Leo has gained so much confidence and has progressed so fast with his skills since we’ve started training with them. They take special safety measures to make sure the dogs are safe and care for the dogs so much. Leo also did a board and train with them. It was the best experience!!! I was very nervous leaving my pup for the first time. I came back to a happy calm sweet boy. I received constant updates and pictures of his progress. At the end I received a detailed log of his training, his behavior, and great tips and specific instructions as how to follow through with his training. I will definitely do it again. I highly recommend trusting them with your pup with Gigi and Mark!!
