Turning Point Dog Training

Kel at Turning Point is such a fantastic trainer! I did a three week board and train for my reactive dog and she helped my dog make incredible progress. Kel clearly cares about the dogs she works with and takes the time to understand how each dog learns the best. While my dog was away for the board and train Kel sent me regular updates, photos, and videos so I always knew how things were going. She also arranged time for me to come train with them so I could learn how to maintain the skills my pup is learning. 10/10 would recommend Turning Point and especially Kel!

We recently completed a 5 session training package with Jess for our rescue dog, Maple. Jess truly understands dogs and her approach to training really helped us to understand both the how and the why. Our Maple has become a calmer, more thoughtful dog because of our sessions with Jess. We’re excited to participate in pack walks in the future and utilize their boarding and daycare services. Everyone we met at Turning Point is so kind and it’s clear they take incredible care of the dogs in their care. We can’t recommend Jess and Turning Point highly enough!

We are so grateful for Paige and the entire team at Turning Point. Our dog Poe can be a bit of a handful. He’s not the easiest with strangers and we initially sought training for his resource guarding, inability to settle, and general behavioral issues around the house. After his 3-week board and train with Paige, he came home a different dog in the best possible way. He’s more relaxed, easier to handle, and overall just so much more enjoyable to live and train with. Paige provided picture/video updates daily along with a summary of the training that they worked on together that day. I was initially nervous to send my dog away for that long but as soon as we met Paige I immediately knew we were making the correct decision for him and that he would be in great hands. Paige did an amazing job with him, but what really sets her apart is how supportive she’s been even after his stay. She’s gone above and beyond to answer our questions, offer guidance, and cheer us on as we explore dog sports with Poe. I truly feel like we’ve built a lasting relationship, and choosing Turning Point was one of the best decisions (and best investments!) we’ve made for our dog. As first time dog owners we are truly so thankful to have found Paige and Turning Point.
