Turning Point Dog Training

My dog Osa did a board and train with Paige and we had an amazing experience! She’s been home for 3 weeks and she is still going strong! I was nervous because you read a lot online about how board and trains don’t work and it costs a lot of money but honestly it was WORTH EVERY PENNY and it’s a 180 degree difference in her. They are super communicative and keep you updated 6/7 days a week (just except the day your trainer has off - and everybody needs a day off!) and send videos and photos of the progress. After a couple days all my anxiety was gone and I knew they were taking amazing care of her. Now I know how to help her with her anxiety, keep her in place, she heels, waits politely at doors, and more. Truly life saving on our home. I already have her booked for 3 structured boards this year so that while I’m on vacation I know her maintenance training will be kept up with. We love Auntie Paige and The Turning Point!

I took my new rescue dog to turning point because my sister and her dog had a good experience there. My dog was having problems with accidents, separation anxiety, reactivity and just needed basic obedience training. We did 8 sessions with Paige and she literally saved our lives! She was so patient with us and let me text her every time something good or bad happened. We just graduated from our 8 sessions and I don’t know what we would have done without her. My dog is going places, meeting people and doing things I never thought she would be calm enough to do!!

We had such a fantastic experience with Turning Point Dog! Our trainer, Andrea, was amazing, she made everything feel simple and approachable. From day one, she gave us clear guidance and practical tools that were easy to follow. We were also given extremely thorough documentation of everything we covered in each session and the team was super responsive if we had any questions. Our dog, Nash, has improved so much. he’s calmer, better at settling, and walking with him is a completely different experience now. I recently took my dog, Mojito, to Turning Point Dog Training for a two-week refresher board and train, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the very beginning, they tailored her training to our specific needs and goals. The thorough consultation up front allowed me to clearly communicate my concerns, and they really listened. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, and the results truly speak for themselves. All of the staff were amazing with Mojito, showing her patience, kindness, and consistency. I want to give special recognition to her trainer, Andrea, who went above and beyond. Andrea’s clear and thorough instructions not only helped Mojito adjust and learn but also helped us grow as her humans. She made sure we understood the “why” behind each technique and gave us confidence in continuing the training at home. When Mojito was brought back home, they didn’t just drop her off—they spent the time to provide a detailed in-home training session with us, ensuring we understood how to continue her progress. One of the standout touches was the custom workbook they created for us. It’s an amazing resource to reference anytime we need a refresher or guidance. On top of that, their follow-up support has been outstanding. They checked in during the first few days at home, and I especially appreciate that a second follow-up is included in a few weeks to make sure we’re still on track. Our dog—and our relationship with her—is absolutely worth every penny we invested. Turning Point Dog Training went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We brought our one year old German - Australian Shepard mix to Turning Point for his reactivity and anxiety. After a 5 week board and train with Paige, the results were tremendous! His overall demeanor is now much calmer, his reactivity is minimal, and we can take him places worry free. Paige is an awesome trainer, would constantly send updates during his stay and taught us the skills to continue our dogs training, it is well worth the investment. We can’t thank Paige and the Training Point staff enough, highly recommend!!
