Troubled to Trained

Shane was recommended to us for our 1 year old heeler mix who was scared of the world. He came prepared for the task and extremely professional. He was able to make her comfortable and show us how to speak the language she needed to hear. In one session she is already coming out of her shell and responding to the leash and recall. I am very hopeful that she will learn to overcome her fear of new people and things.

We’re really happy with the training Ranger got from Shane. Ranger did a one-week board and train program, and the progress he made — especially with his aggression toward other dogs — was amazing. Throughout the week, Shane sent daily updates and videos showing how Ranger was doing. We also received a few phone calls. Shane’s communication was always clear, easy to follow, and super helpful. The videos highlighted the important parts of the training and let us see Ranger improving day by day. One thing we really appreciated was how Shane explained not just what to do with Ranger, but also why the techniques and methods matter. He made sure we understood our role in keeping up the training and staying consistent at home. My husband and I feel so much more confident handling situations that might come up, and most importantly, we feel like we achieved the goals we had for Ranger.
