Training Tracks Canine Learning Station

Lindsay and the entire Training Tracks team have been absolutely incredible with our Pittie-mix, Archer. Their expertise, patience, and genuine care have made such a difference for our family. The Board & Train program was truly life-changing, but what has impressed me even more is the support that continues long after training ends. From in-home follow-up visits to constant texts answering questions and sending photo updates, and even Zoom sessions whenever we need a little extra guidance, they’ve been there every step of the way. That level of commitment is rare and has been invaluable. We also board Archer with them whenever we travel because we know he’ll be loved, well cared for, and consistently reinforced with the training he’s learned. It gives us complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for dog trainers who genuinely invest in both you and your dog, I can’t recommend Lindsay and Training Tracks highly enough. Five stars without hesitation!

My dog and I completed basic obedience with Training Tracks and we couldn't be happier with the training we received! I had just adopted a 1-year old boxer/pittie mix and he's a good boy, but very energetic and about 70 pounds, so I knew he needed training. The training helped put his energy to good use and taught us how to communicate with one another. I really appreciate that they don't use choke or shock collars, but instead lean into teaching humans how dogs learn and communicate. I was so impressed I've enrolled with our second dog - (also newly adopted)! Training Tracks was recommended by the no-kill shelter we adopted from, who has also had great success with some of their rescue pups. Best of all, my dog LOVED it. After the first week I would say "are you ready to go to class?" and he would race to the door.

I cannot say enough good things about Training Tracks and the impact they have had on both Cricket and I. Cricket is a field-bred German Shorthaired Pointer with an extremely sensitive nervous system, a tremendous amount of drive, and (when we started) absolutely no off switch. From the beginning, Training Tracks understood that she didn’t need basic obedience training—she needed a much more specific approach tailored to who she is as a dog. Even before I was officially a client, Jeff went above and beyond to answer questions and help guide me. That level of care and willingness to help showed me the kind of people they are and the passion they have for helping dogs and their owners succeed. What stood out to me most was that they didn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Cricket needed help learning how to regulate herself, develop an off switch, and manage stimulation stacking. Training Tracks created a plan around her individual needs, personality, and temperament instead of just teaching commands. Before training, taking Cricket out into the world could be incredibly challenging. When we would go hiking or on walks, she would become so overwhelmed and overstimulated by her environment that she would redirect that frustration onto me. She struggled with regulating herself when there was too much happening around her. Since coming home from Training Tracks, she has not done that at all. The difference in her ability to process her environment, recover, and stay connected with me has been amazing. The transformation was incredible. Before training, Cricket would not relax outside of her crate. She would not take naps, settle, or simply exist calmly in the house. When she came home, she was consistently able to do those things. Seeing her choose to relax and settle was something I honestly wasn’t sure would happen, and it made such a huge difference in our daily life. Lindsay was absolutely wonderful throughout the process. She was an incredible communicator, sending detailed updates, helpful videos, and explanations of what Cricket was learning and why. She was not only knowledgeable but also so entertaining and enjoyable to work with. I always felt connected to Cricket’s progress and confident that she was in the best hands. The investment was absolutely worth it, and I would make the decision to do it again in a heartbeat. The follow-up support has been phenomenal and has continued to help me navigate real-life situations with Cricket after she came home. One thing I especially appreciate about Training Tracks is how honestly they manage expectations. They don’t send your dog home and make you feel like you got a “finished product” or that training magically ends. They make it very clear that training is an ongoing process and that the owner’s consistency and commitment are just as important as the work done during the program. That honesty, education, and support are a huge part of what makes them stand out. I am so grateful for the work they have done with Cricket and for the support they have given me as her owner. They truly understand dogs as individuals, and I would highly recommend Training Tracks to anyone looking for thoughtful, customized training from people who genuinely care.

We had a wonderful experience with Training Tracks. Our puppy learned more with each visit, and the sessions where we got to train with her were invaluable so we could consistently continue her development. We felt great dropping her off each time because she was always so happy to see everyone there. She might have liked them more than us! 😂 Their continued support after training concluded is so appreciated. We drove 45 minutes to get there, and it was totally worth it. Highly recommended for any puppy.

We boarded our 1 1/2 year old Miniature Schnauzer Levi for 3 weeks. He received training lessons as well during his 3 week stay. Staff were all very nice and responsive providing us with frequent updates, pictures and videos of our Levi. They did such a great job with Levi and he’s learned so much from them. Shout out to Lindsay and Moe and everyone else for all of their kindness towards our Levi. We highly recommend Training Tracks!
