Sam is amazing! He helped us with our ex-street dog from Mexico Chuy. He’s a different dog now because of Sam. We would not have dared to take Chuy to kiva beach because of his aggression towards dog before we meet Sam now not only does he go to kiva he goes OFFLEAH! We are more than great for Sam and Chuys big change but only Sam great with dogs he’s great with people as well. We can for sure say that we didn’t only walk away with a new dog we also made a new friend. Thank you Sam for everything!

As soon as we found our little Aussie pup Shasta we knew we wanted to do some training before we formed too many bad habits. We found Sam online and decided to give it a go. From the very first session we enjoyed working with Sam, he's got a very calm demeanor and knows how to communicate with dogs as well as their owners. After about 8 sessions we feel like we're in a really great place and Shasta is a well behaved pup that's light years ahead of a lot of dogs we encounter. Thanks for everything Sam! Would highly recommend!

Sam did a FABULOUS job with our 3 year old dog, Dino. We sought Trail Dog Etiquette out because Dino was being VERY reactive on trails. He was super unpredictable off leash, occasionally chasing bikes and lunging after hikers. Sam was ready for it though! We started off by training Dino to loose leash walk- which is something we have never been able to do consistently with our mutt. After only a few sessions though and training us & Dino on a prong collar, even our friends have noticed how well behaved Dino is on lecollar. Next, we moved on to training with the Garmin ecollar. This took a lot of reps and patience with Sam to teach my partner and I how to properly use and not confuse Dino. All the while, we were working on techniques to disengage and normalize distractions on the trail. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with Sam and his approach to training our dog. He helped my partner and I build our toolkit to set Dino up for success and it's made a MASSIVE difference. We are less stressed, and therefore Dino is less stressed. We are still going to keep drilling with Dino, but I am incredibly pleased with the information Sam provided and output of the last 2 months with Trail Dog Etiquette!
