We are beyond impressed with Mara and Traction Dog Training Club. For years we have been wanting to train our dog on obedience. She has always been so stubborn, refused to listen, and super high-energy. She also has some behavioral issues with other dogs and outside elements. Three years and one puppy later, we finally had to invest in her when she decided she didn't like the new addition to our family.
Mara is a DOG WHISPERER. She is quiet and even-tempered, and the dogs listen, respect, and love her. Within one day, we saw a huge difference in our 3-year old dog. By day two, she was already listening to me (when, in the past, she completely disregarded all of my commands and would only listen to my husband). By the end of her three-week homeschooling sessions, she was a completely different dog. Mara had not only trained her to sit, down, heel, come, stay, place, and "recall" but she and the puppy are best friends and she even ignores other dogs on the streets. She also did a good job of training my husband and I, because we needed to be on the same page in training our dog. We now work together on training her daily, making sure we practice every day to keep everything fresh in her mind and make sure we're on the same page with words, rewards, etc.
We will be calling on Mara and Traction Dog Training Club when the puppy comes of age for his training and to fine-tune our other dog's training!
We highly recommend her and her team for all training, whether obedience or behavioral!

Mara gave us the tools to truly communicate with her, to assuage her fears, and help her to be a happier dog. Being able to have that training done in house while my husband and I were working, and being able to set up that foundation that we could run with afterwards, was critical.
