When Mia first came to our home Scar was very aggressive towards her and had to have his muzzle on. But just after a few lessons he began to trust her. He would allow her to walk him without his muzzle, and he would listen to her when he was given commands. Within just five lessons with Mia, Scar became a different dog. She taught us how to teach him boundaries, how to stay in his place when told, and walk on a leash without pulling. Since our in-home training and group classes, Scar has become a better dog. He has not once become aggressive towards us in the home since. The biggest issue we had was when we were in the kitchen cooking, he would get territorial, but now we knows to stay in his place whenever we are in the kitchen. I am glad I was introduced to Mia because she has truly turned Scar into a better and obedient dog, which includes that she is now able to pet him and he will roll over for more scratches (not many can do this with him). Working with aggressive dogs is never easy and it takes time with them. Mia took her time and saw his true potential. She did not give up on Scar even when he had some issues throughout training. In the end, I am grateful for the time I had with Mia and the positive changes she has made in my 6 year old dog, Scar.
