Traction- specifically Eric- was a lifesaver for us! We had worked with two other highly recommended professional trainers and gotten nowhere with handling our rescue dog’s anxiety and reactivity. We were ready to send him away for 2-3 weeks of training. Eric was able to tell us that we didn’t need that level of intervention and could accomplish what we needed to in about 9 sessions. Eric was patient and kind with us and our two dogs. By the end of training with Eric I was able to have a completely new set of handling skills and my dog was able to go in Home Depot without reacting. Can’t recommend Eric and Traction enough. Wish we had worked with them first- would have saved a lot of time, effort and money!

I decided to enroll Anzu in Traction's 2-week study abroad program, due to some extended travel I had to do abroad, and this is probably the best decision I've made for both myself and Anzu. Tina has done amazing work with Anzu - walking her used to be one of our greatest struggles, and since she has come back, walking her has become a breeze. Tina has been a great support as well post-program, her instructions and advice are thorough and she walks us through various solutions as well. I am still getting used to using the new tools to maintain Anzu's training, but I have definitely regained confidence in both walking and allowing Anzu to play offleash. I would also like to add that Tina and Kayla have both been amazingly flexible and patient with organizing Anzu's post-program boarding. I highly recommend Traction Dog Training Club to anyone seeking help with training and is interested in exploring the potential of balanced training. I look forward to working with them again in the hopefully not so far future for Anzu's CGC certification :) (Sharing some photos of Anzu that Tina sent my way during her program. Thank you so much for these Tina!)

We have three dogs, but our little dachshund, Moka, had a lot of reactivity and difficulty being around other dogs - and she tried to protect our two Brittanys from other dogs when we were walking them all. After two lessons with Victoria, Moka learned to be more confident and calm. I continued to work with Moka each day and Victoria came twice a week (along with her three dogs) for another four weeks to reinforce my techniques and Moka's behavior. We learned some simple commands to help Moka focus on her good behavior and I am so grateful for the positive change. I walk Moka now without fear of her over-reacting. We will continue to get periodic training with Victoria and I look forward to it. I highly recommend her!

Victoria from Traction helped my dog Sunny go from being very reactive and trying to say hi to every person/dog to calm and confident on leash walks! I can’t believe the progress he made in two weeks and am excited to continue working with Victoria and Traction. Seriously the best training experience we’ve ever had, and Victoria is calm and confident, it’s been fun to learn from her! Would’ve never dreamt of taking him to a brewery/restaurant and after two weeks he rocked it! Also enjoyed our outings around Boulder - Traction made training fun!
