Then we found Tina at Traction and enrolled in her Study Abroad program—and everything changed. From the very beginning, Tina made us feel so comfortable and confident in the process. Her calm, clear communication and deep understanding of dogs gave us peace of mind every step of the way. Today, Chelsea is a different dog—she listens, understands, and is an absolute joy to live with. The transformation has been incredible, and we’re beyond grateful for the time, care, and expertise Tina poured into her training. If you’re looking for real results and a trainer who genuinely cares, we can’t recommend Tina enough.

Tina has worked with my 2-year old for two home stays, one recently, and a previous stay when he was 6-mos. My pup was way more active than my first dog, and I needed help setting limits and with general training. I could not have been more pleased with the training I received from Tina. She helped explain how to work with my more active dog with methods that helped me to build confidence in my ability to handle him in a positive and loving manner. Tina is THE BEST! (I had worked with two other trainers in MD who i had to quit. One was too rough, and the second basically charged a fortune for a clicker.). I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with Tina, and my pup LOVES her!

I 100% recommend Tina Chavez. She had taught me a lot about how to be a good dog parent and I would not be in the same place I am right now without her. I almost had to give my dog up for adoption because of his aggression but she completely reversed that. I have never seen my dog be so happy and social as he is now.
