Would you like a calm and obedient canine? Look no further than my 25 years of dog training, which has included potty training, basic, intermediate and advanced canine training. I started canine training in the military, after my military retirement, I was hired as a canine training instructor for the Department of Homeland Security. I only use positive re-enforcement training and motivation techniques to ensure your pet understands and learns the desired behavior. My services do include an free initial consolation at a place of your choice. Sessions will be conducted in 1 hour blocks. The hour is broken down as follows: 3 instruction segment's of 10 minutes of training with a 5 minutes recovery period for the dog.

I recent got a 6 week old puppy and my male dog age 7 was not thrilled at all about it, broke our hearts seeing my older dog uncomfortable in he’s own home with the new addition, saw raving reviews about Travis and it was true he really is a dog whisperer lol in an hour session now both dogs and be in the same room and co-exist with one another, still some minor hiccups but with the tips and training Travis left us with its been working out great! Definitely having him work with us to train the puppy once he hits 4 months!

Travis was truly amazing, just with the first appointment I have already seen an improvement in my German Shepard. He showed up on time and got right to the training with a very clear and straight forward approach. Not only does he train the dog he also educates the owner on how to continue training and progress forward. Definitely one of a kind and a real deal dog whisperer.

The training methods he used were very professional and all the experience he had was evident. I was amazed at Rhea's behavior after the session, no more wild dog, just a cool, calm and collected puppy. I would highly recommend TP's Dog Training and am planning to continue Rhea's training with TP's Dog Training.

Travis was professional, kind, patient, and friendly. He explained techniques and demonstrated them to us to work in with our puppy. By the end of the session, our puppy was confident and friendly with Travis.

Travis was great with my goldendoodle. He taught me how to teach him to follow commands while in the middle of distraction. He worked with him on understanding boundaries to avoid running out the front door and avoid leaving my driveway if he was out. He taught me how to continue this skill. I like that he taught me easy ways to be able to work with my pup to reinforce these commands. My pup knew the commands before Travis left so now it is up to me to ensure I keep them fresh in his mind. I highly recommend Travis. He is awesome.
