Top Tier K9 - Greenwood

I highly recommend Top Tier K9! I have an almost 2 year old cavapoo and I’m very protective of him. I wanted to put him in some type of training but was afraid to leave him in the care of others. I took him to Top Tier K9 for a meet and greet and he was so comfortable and the people all seemed amazing so I decided to go with it. He is like a completely different dog in regards to behavior. He is still my loveable little puppy but he listens now and I can have guests over without him losing all his manners and acting crazy. He learned so much and had so much fun doing it. We still work on things at home and they taught me how to teach him things as well. He is still learning new things at home with the training tactics that they used. He loves going there for the doggy daycare and grooming appointments as well. He made many wonderful human friends as well as dog friends. I can’t thank Top Tier enough!

We have a 10 month old xolo that was very skittish. He was nervous to meet new people and had no confidence. This made training very difficult. We took him to top tier k9, where Ken and Jen did a 3 week board and train with him. He gained so much confidence and has learned all of his basic manners. We received daily updates and pictures, and the staff went above and beyond to care for his extra needs of being a hairless dog in the harsh Indiana winter. We were able to take him home over a weekend to practice training at home before the third week and when we took him back for his last week he couldn’t wait to get back into the training room! He was so excited to see Jen waiting for him. He ran right to her. They’ve built such a special bond and he will definitely be back to visit her and the rest of the amazing staff. Choosing top tier k9 was the best investment we could have made for our boy. We will always use them for our training needs in the future!

We have a 2.5-year-old lab named Willy Wonka. He is a great dog but needed a training refresher. He is very high energy with a prey drive. He goes to Dogtopia regularly for daycare and LOVES to play. Jen and Ken were happy to train with him. We did a two-week daytime intensive training to start and then a "board and train" while out of town. They worked on basic commands with an emphasis on recall. Willy learned to focus and worked hard for the trainers. They took him out of the facility to work on distractions as well. We all enjoyed working with Top Tier K9 Greenwood and would highly recommend it. Willy uses an E-collar for training, but various other methods can be used depending on what your dog responds to. We will continue training as needed. We were pleased with the service. Jen is definitely Willy Wonka's favorite!
