My partner and I rescued a German Shepard puppy and knew we needed help with training her. I came across Top Tier K9 on instagram and decided to check them out. The first time we met Sergio and his team I knew we wanted their help. The Top Tier K9 team have been extremely helpful and are very excellent at teaching. Sergio explains everything in such great detail to help owners better understand their dog’s behavior and why he will be using certain techniques to help with control. He suggests certain collars and leashes and explains the purpose for them and how to properly use them. Even on days he is not meeting with you and your dog, he is always providing tips and answers via social media or text. They are very professional but also very loving to our German Shepard puppy as if she was their own. They are super friendly and make each training session enjoyable. I highly recommend Top Tier K9 to anyone looking for consistency, great results and a stronger connection to your dog.

We can’t thank Top Tier and Sergio enough for everything they’ve done for Arya. When we first started, we truly never thought she’d be able to be around other dogs and/or people without reacting. It felt impossible, and we weren’t sure if we’d ever get to this point. The knowledge, patience, and guidance from Sergio and his team have completely changed the way we understand Arya and what she needs to succeed. Every session has given us the tools and confidence to help her work through her reactivity instead of just trying to manage it. They didn’t just train Arya, they taught us how to truly understand her. They helped us see the dog behind the reactivity and gave us the knowledge and confidence to become the handlers she needed all along. Every small win has become a huge milestone for us, and seeing Arya choose us, stay calm, and make better decisions around other dogs brings tears to our eyes because we know how far she’s come. Watching Arya make progress around other dogs is something we honestly never thought we’d see, but Top Tier is making it possible. I highly recommend Top Tier K9 and Sergio! Bagel is still in training, but we’ve already seen so much progress. As everyone knows, every dog learns at their own pace, and Bagel has been slowly but consistently improving. One of the biggest changes we’ve noticed is that in less than a month, Bagel has started getting along with my boyfriend, which is something we were really hoping for. Seeing that progress has given us so much confidence in the training process. Sergio is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about helping both dogs and their owners succeed. He takes the time to understand Bagel’s personality and provides us with the guidance and tools we need to continue reinforcing his training at home. He’s also been incredibly flexible with scheduling, which has made it so much easier to fit training sessions into my busy schedule. Although Bagel’s training is still ongoing, we’re already very happy with the progress he’s made and look forward to seeing him continue to improve.
