Top Paw K9 Academy

Jen is great! My dog is well trained, but very reactive. It’s really awful. Jen set us up with a very detailed daily schedule. And like detailed. Lots of activities, specifically described and told when to do them and what order to do them in. And it took us a while. But we stuck with it and already my pup is so much easier to manage. We are still working together, and I like that we go at my pace/my dogs pace and also that she is sooooo detailed about what to do. Definitely recommend.

Its was a long 28hour drive from Florida to Colorado that I was being told wouldn't be worth it. I had been following and speaking with Jennifer for months before I fully committed. I was finally able to take my dogs Luna and Athena to train and from the moment i met Jennifer in person i knew it was going to be worth the drive. She was so welcoming and her passion/love for the animals gave her an aura you couldn't miss. Luna had been attacked by another dog and since then she wouldn't let no other animals nor people near my family. As of today Luna has been out and about, spreading love to all who visit and going to her first soccer practice with my dad. I love her turn around and i am truly thankful for Jennifer willing to take on the extra work for my dad to be stressed free when taking Luna out. Athena is one of Lunas puppies that will be staying with my mother in law. Puppy camp definitely got her out of her timid shell and now she is riding 4 wheelers and running all throughout the land and into the river with full confidence. For anyone who thinks its a long drive... believe me.. it was well worth it and i would do it again.

I sent my 1 year old mini aussie to Top Paw K9 and am so so happy with the results. Before I sent my dog he was constantly anxious and overstimulated in any new environment, had a difficult time settling in the home, and was very fearful of children. I am so impressed with everything Jen did for my dog. She is a very kind, compassionate, and knowledgable dog trainer. She takes the time to answer any and all questions, explain training clearly and has always been communicative when I've had questions - during his board and train and after. My dog is truly a much happy and less anxious dog after his board and train. I have nothing but good things to say about Jen and Top Paw K9!

When I say Jen saved our lives I mean it. We had a German shepherd who was afraid of anyone and anything. He was very protective of me and especially my wife. It made him so anxious feeling like he had to protect us all the time and he was never happy. He would react to bikes, strollers, runners, bikes, skateboards, other dogs, people who were too close, everything!!! We sent our dog to two board in trains before we met Jen and they ruined our dog. He wasnt confident, he was so scared of punishment, and he was not truly happy. He couldn’t even rest in his own home. Jen was honestly our last hope after Koda bit my cousin in the face. We were afraid we would have to give him up. It broke my heart to pieces but I hated him being so miserable. Finally we sent him with Jen and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Not only does Koda not react anymore to triggers, he is so happy!! He actually SMILES now! It’s the cutest, sweetest thing and I wish everyone got to enjoy this side of him. Jen taught us how to handle him properly and build our relationship back with him. She also taught us something VERY important that I think every dog owner should know, your dog isn’t going to like everyone and they aren’t going to like every dog. It is important to advocate for your puppies space, and if he is uncomfortable you help him through the hard situation. I really can’t thank Jen and k9 academy enough for what they have done for our family. Today Koda came home and he was a completely different dog. Confident, happy, and his recall is amazing. All we really wanted was just to be able to take him on hikes, and have him walk by triggers without him reacting. We got that and so much more. Seriously love Jen and don’t know what we would do without her.
