He was available anytime I had questions and even provided review sessions as the dogs have needed. He kept all scheduled appointments, always arriving promptly. His professionalism and reputation are impeccable. John simply is the best. And when it comes to personality and character, John Imler is top notch there too, and happens to be one of the friendliest, nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Over the next months, John taught me and my wife a trove of skills of how to manage Belles stressed situations and build her confidence.

My dog Lincoln went through the foundations program and the free dog curriculum. Lincoln’s training program was tailored specifically for him based on his personality and the behaviors he was exhibiting. Even more importantly, John taught ME how to work with him to encourage the behaviors I want and discourage those I don’t. He explained everything from Lincoln’s point of view to help me understand why he behaved the way he did and how he would interpret my response to his behavior. The free dog program has enabled me to take Lincoln with me anywhere dogs are allowed. We do a lot of hiking. He enjoys the freedom of exploring off leash and I have peace of mind knowing he will come to me when I call him. I highly recommend John and Top Dog Training!
