FirstBarkHighly recommend Thurman’s Place. They did our puppy training years ago and we use them for boating when we go out of town. My dog RUN TO THEIR VAN when they come to pick them up! They love going to “puppy camp” when we travel. It’s so nice to know our furry friends are well taken care of when we are away!!

Rocky loves going to Thurmans! He knows when the van is coming & waits patiently by the door & jumps in the van never looking back…Thank you for making his stays so much fun & for giving me the peace of mind that he is well taken care of. Thurmans place has been such an amazing place for both our older dog and our new puppy. They have been loved on, and it seems like a second home. The younger one is learning manners and I can tell our older dog is not as excited when we come home because he has had such a good time!
Thurman’s takes such good care of the pups and they always come back brushed up with training, happy, and usually a little bit thinner with all the exercise. Can’t thank you enough for all you have done for our family and relationship with dogs. Thank you !

We sent our dog Barlow to Thurman's Place for training. When he left us, he was shy, skittish and rarely wagged. He didn't understand manners or expectations. We love him, of course, but being with him then was frustrating. The Barlow who returned after a month is happy (lots of wagging!), confident, and respects boundaries. He's well behaved. We recommend Karen and her team to any owner who wants a balanced and relaxed dog (you'll become balanced and relaxed, too). All aspects of the training are outstanding, including the patient and attentive trainers, communication with them, transportation, and the training and boarding facility. You and your dog will be better together after spending time at Thurman's Place.
