Hi Erin,<br><br>There is a lot of missing information to this negative review. For your evaluation I came to your home for one of your 4/5 dogs. Since it has been about 2.5 years since our last conversation (my last text to you with no response) in April of 2023. Durning the home evaluation process it was fairly chaotic as each dog had some type of behavior struggle. That doesn’t mean they were bad dogs but not an ideal environment for a single dog to be able to learn in. With that being an obstacle we agreed on working on crate training for all the dogs even though payment was for a single dog. I wanted to help the entire pack. This would help us be able to work with the main dog in training be able to learn and train within the home. Jumping was the biggest issue. After that and following up on how your “homework” (crate training for the pack) was going to help all the dogs in the home have some down time as their day to day was chaotic. I wanted to help not just the main dog but all the dogs be able to calm and less stressed on a daily basis. You admitted that homework was not being done and I explained that your dog really needed to be one on one working at home to be successful in learning. Sadly you did not want to follow these protocols. This would be the equivalent to us humans trying to learn a new skill with a few other people in the direct area being loud, talking to you, distractions, etc. It would be unlikely you would succeed. During this time there was some back and forth on both our ends with Covid, your and my health, it just happened that way unfortunately on both our ends. I am sorry that over two years later you felt the need to come here negatively without any context. I can help train someone’s dog but per our consult discussion owners have to do their part as well. Our first lesson was on Feb 6,2023 and we went over creating a calmer learning environment/crate training for all of the dogs. You had your homework and felt good about it. We were supposed to do another lesson on February 9 that you had to reschedule due to a sick child which is totally understandable. At that time I also asked if you had any videos of your training homework and how that was going. I did not get a response at all until March 28. I told<br>You at that point I myself had a medical<br>issue your response on March 29th was <br><br>“I am so sorry to hear that! How scary! We're both so beat up that we'll just lay on the couch and stare at Olive together.😆 I am definitely not in any rush, so we can wait a few weeks if you want! <br>I am still waiting and saying "free" when they leave their crates and cross the thresholds, BUT I failed miserably at not letting them on the couch and with crate and rotate. Crate and rotate made everyone sad. However, Midge is growing up and is less wild every day, and Mac has decided that he is happiest being a Mama's boy and sitting in my lap quietly. Meanwhile, Olive is getting wilder by the minute.”<br><br>My response was <br><br>“What can I do to help? Dogs can think like we do being sad per se even though puppy eyes are hard. <br><br>If that doesn't work for you what would you like to do? I know Olive is the trouble child. I'm still happy to get her in a program but I want to make sure you get what you are looking for”<br><br>We then had back and fourth about the dogs behavior worsening and since you were struggling at home with basic protocols I offered a program where we would be more involved and in a school setting. You did not want to invest in this and said you no longer wanted to do the training and wanted a refund. We have all clients create an account with us that has you electronically sign our agreement before you can make your profile stating there is no refunds after 24 hours. I was happy to still do lessons In home as planned but we had to give the dog an environment they could learn in and I never got a response from this message sent on April 25, 2023.
