Meeting w/Barbara for our puppy consultation was a great experience. Barbara is very knowledgeable, understanding and willing to answer any questions. We're looking forward to Rileys first puppy classes in January!
These classes are full of information that every puppy owner needs. The activities are based on scientific understanding of behavior and this makes training easier because you use your dog's natural curiosity and playful manner to accomplish goals together. Then your time together is much more fulfilling and way less frustrating. It's fun for both puppy and owner.

After my experience with Barbara's Assistant trainer, I would never recommend anyone take their puppy there for training. The puppy elite class was full so they enrolled us in Puppy University. The class was far more advanced for a 12 week old puppy, but they insisted that he would do fine. That was not the case. When everyone was learning down and roll over, my puppy was learning sit and stay. When I mentioned that I wasn't getting the weekly emails with homework, I got a dirty look. Very unprofessional. They insisted on you getting "needed " equipment which cost me $115 over the $319 for the class, which I didn't expect. When I was first confirming our enrollment, Barbara cancel my equipment meeting because my puppy was receiving his bordetella the day before class. They have no phone contact number so you have to rely on her answering her email. I walked out on night #4 after being publicly humiliated by Barbara's Assistant trainer. Barbara is also a self claimed burnout from the business as she is overworked and letting this rude Assistant take over, not having anything to do with the classes. I found their behavior in orientation day to be childish and unprofessional at times. Do your homework. For Us this was a very bad match and experience

I went through puppy elite & university with both my puppies. My oldest was so shy of everything and I credit these classes in helping him overcome so many of his fears. We took him through Core Manners also and have continued working with him on what we've learned and he's turning into such a polite dog now at only 15 months old. I'm looking forward to our youngest being a well balanced boy also.
