The Stellar Dog is the sole ownership of Megan Sartori. The Stellar Dog exists to offer quality care and professional dog training for pets and their owners in the greater Austin, TX area. The Stellar Dog serves the Central Texas areas of North Austin, Northwest Austin, and the cities of Cedar Park, Volente and Leander. The Stellar Dog serves the communities at Canyon Creek, Crystal Falls, The Domain, Four Points, River Place, Steiner Ranch and Brushy Creek. The Stellar Dog specializes in private training and day training for puppies and dogs of all ages. Services include basic obedience and manners training, service dog training and behavior modification for serious issues such as reactivity, fear and aggression.

The All Star program is more comprehensive and your dog will learn several more behaviors. Your dog will be easy to control both inside and outside of your home. You also get the added bonus of email support for 4 months after we’ve finished the training sessions. This way you can feel free to contact me with any questions or issues that come up therefore ensuring the best possible outcome!
The Ultimate Foundation is, well, the ultimate! It is the most comprehensive program and the results are pretty amazing. It consists of a combination of day training sessions, where I work with your dog solo to get the training on board more quickly, plus private sessions where we work together so you know what your dog knows. Your dog will respond to cues, be a pleasure to walk, and shine as an important member of your family. You receive unlimited email and phone support for six months after we’ve finished the training sessions. That’s right, a trainer on hand to answer your questions and problem solve while your dog is perfecting its newly acquired behaviors!

Train your own Service Dog under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced service dog trainer. To enroll in our service dog program you must have a diagnosed disability, and a willingness to work hard with your dog to reach your goals as a team. Service dog training is not easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to spend time every day working with your dog. During the Initial Consultation dogs will be evaluated for their suitability for Service Dog work and individuals will be interviewed in order to assess their needs. A Public Access Test will be performed at the conclusion of training. Limited training slots available.

Megan is an excellent Dog trainer. Not only is she fantastic with dogs, she is also equally amazing with humans (referring to my two little kids). We have a 10 month old naughty, picky Golden Doodle. Being a first time dog owner we really had no idea what we were doing. Megan helped us understand our puppy's needs and communicate with him better. She gave us hope that our boy will one day be the best dog ever.
We plan on doing more sessions with Megan. I recommend Megan to any and everyone that I know !

I can't say enough positive things about working with the Stellar Dog and Megan. I realized quickly that my puppy wasn't the only one who needed (and benefitted from) the training.
The sessions covered the basics for a new puppy generally, but were also tailored to where Oliver and I were in the process. From shark attacks, to squirrel chasing, Megan provided reasoned and effective solutions, with patience and humor.

We just finished The Ultimate Puppy Foundation program with Megan and it was well worth it! We had taken a group puppy class before so our dog, Momo, knew some of the basics but it was a one-size-fits-all approach and we still had so many questions. The private sessions are invaluable since Megan took the time to understand and connect with our dog who adores and respects her. Things just clicked for Momo and we started seeing consistent results. She explains the techniques really well and makes it easy and enjoyable to incorporate into your daily routine. She genuinely wants you to get the most out of your sessions and went out of her way to ask her sister and dog to come by and be a distraction one day. We always have questions and she's extremely generous with her time and answers. She even gave me resources and advice to help with isolation distress, a month prior to our consultation. Our dog is so much more well-rounded, behaved, and slowly building confidence – I even get compliments from neighbors when they see us out training. We can't thank Megan enough!
