The Spot 4 Dogs

If you are contemplating sending your beloved beast to The Spot 4 Dogs do NOT hesitate. Our youngest dog developed very bad and aggressive behaviors that including fighting her sister (twice as big) multiple times per day and pulling cords and plugs out of the wall. We were at a point that was not sustainable. TS4D provided us lifechanging tools to help our little demon be successful at being a good dog. She can be fully off leash and is passionate about ongoing training at home. It is some of the best money we have spent on our animals. 10 out of 10!

First time looking for doggie daycare, so wasn't sure what to expect and had questions. Was greeted by a very apathetic front desk lady. Asked about liability in case my dog was injured and was told that the facility would assume liability if hurt there. She also stated that "every time an animal has been injured since she has worked there, the owner of the facility has paid". She hurried out to get the trainer for evaluation of my pup and upon returning, she handed me some papers to sign. I read everything I sign, so upon reading the papers it states that in case of medical attention being needed, the owner is fully responsible (which is fine if that is what I was initially told). When I mentioned it to her, she shrugged her shoulders and had a condescending smirk on her face and reiterated her previous comments. Should have been a red flag earlier when she stated that "every time an animal is injured". I had asked how many attendants are with dogs and she stated 1 attendant and when it hits 30 dogs they bring in 2. Way too many dogs for that few attendants. Left me with too many questions and not enough clear answers to feel comfortable leaving my pup here. May be a great business, but ask your questions and do your due diligence for your own peace of mind.

Took our Sidney to The Spot for Dogs and she had three weeks of board and train with Jake! After just a short few days we can tell a world of a difference ! Prior to training she was barking constantly , jumping when excited, running on furniture, no recall and still puppy biting. Since being home all these behaviors have stopped (fingers crossed!). Over the last few days we have adventured to South Side Garage, Calhoun's, Xul, Hey Bear Cafe and done some off leash in our neighborhood( with leash). Very pleased with her behavior since getting her back. Excited to let her attend day care in the future!

Our 11 year old male Havanese was displaying some aggressive tendencies and we found ourselves adjusting our lives to work around his bad behavior. After a consultation with Jason, we decided to enroll him in the 3 week Board & Train program. After a week, Jake (Trainer) sent a video of Buddy’s progress and we couldn’t believe it was the same dog. Jake established himself as the leader and Buddy was happy with it. It has been a month since Buddy returned home. The first week was a lot of work. Training itself is not enough. You have to keep reinforcing the training or you’ll find yourself and dog going back to old habits. Buddy is still a work in progress but I can still contact Jake and get advise. This was definitely worth it.
