The Pupology Collective (formally SBK-9)

I adopted a rescue pup at the beginning of June. From the moment I got him he would often refuse to walk on a leash. He would stop constantly, lay down, or just refuse to move. It was incredible how stubborn he was capable of being. He had very few other issues, he was pretty mouthy when he was playing and was very mischevious, trying to steal anything he could get his mouth on. I had looked around for dog trainer options to help with the leash walking, but most of them were INSANELY expensive. Not something I could afford on a teacher budget. When I reached out to Pupology I was very grateful for the affordable prices and flexibility in payment plans. Dre was very kind and flexible with me. After just 1-2 sessions, my dog was walking so so much better on the leash. By the end of the 5 day session, he was walking perfectly (still does) and listening to basic commands much better (sit, leave it, come, etc.). He also play bites much less, mostly just if he is very overexcited!! He’s still a bit mischevious, but alas, he’s in his terrible twos! Aside from all of that, I think he just had a blast at training every day. I think he was depressed when he couldn’t go anymore 😂 I knew when I dropped my dog off with Dre with he was being loved like he was her own. All in all, I would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Lauren and Andrea at SBK9! I have a now 8 month old boxer puppy who while sweet as can be would not listen and was having issues getting potty and crate trained. Lauren and Andrea made a plan and they did an excellent job helping me get my puppy, Harper, back on track. They work tirelessly to train your dog in a constructive way that allows the dog to be themselves, but ensures a healthy and happy relationship between the owner and the dog. They were super flexible and very easy to work with. They gave updates, goals, and even shortcomings with training. It’s also more than dog training; they also help owners be better owners for their pups. I went and trained right alongside Lauren several times over the course of Harper’s board and train and they made sure that I was confident in continuing building the training foundation they started. I am so happy with SBK9 and would gladly recommend them to anyone who is looking for some help in training a dog.

Lauren and Andrea are the most kindhearted and genuine people I’ve ever met. Before we even met, in person, I spoke with them on the phone and they were very helpful. My husband and I had tried other trainers and had awful experiences, so we were hesitant. However, I knew from the moment I spoke with Lauren and Andrea that we had found the perfect people for our Scout. Prior to his 4 week training, he didn’t listen well, couldn’t walk on a leash, destructive and was very concerning around children. After his four weeks, he now walks with us daily and with no trouble. He is amazing with our nieces and nephews. He listens to us, and is just a totally different dog, in the best ways. We are forever grateful to Lauren and Andrea. The in person sessions that we went to were also extremely helpful. Beyond that, we know we have Lauren and Andrea forever, and that they will help us anytime we call. Scout is even staying with them this summer, for boarding, instead of going to the vet, which we LOVE! I just can’t say enough good things about them!!🩵🩵🩵

Simply Balanced was amazing! And still is! I adopted a 2.5 year old pit mix who was an un-neutered street dog, then long term shelter and had heartworm. They helped me not only get the dog of my dreams as a first time dog owner but Brody was able to complete service dog training with Lauren and Andrea’s help. Brody literally saves my life everyday. To the point where he can guide me back to my house if I am on the verge of passing out. He’s a smart cookie! I can’t recommend them enough!
