The Pawz Cafe

Went there for the first and the last time. My puppy had a grooming appointment from 10:30 AM until 12. I was referred to them by a friend, I live 45 minutes away and when I arrived the groomer told me that it would be about 4 1/2 hours minimum. I had not anticipated having to leave my dog there for that long being that I live so far away. Also did not feel comfortable leaving him there with the amount of dogs that were barking he was having major anxiety just from hearing them on the outside of the building. When I told the groomer that I did not plan on it taking that long considering they told me that it would only take an hour and a half she apologized and said well they are backed up and i can come in the morning. I took this entire morning off just to be able to bring him so no it is not easy for me to just drive 45 minutes to drop him off and wait another two hours. I said OK, and then called back to see if I can drop him there in two hours instead of leaving him there. That’s when the lady on the phone told me that they just don’t have time for him even though he was scheduled to be groomed! I made this appointment almost a month ago and waited this long to get him in and now they are saying they can’t even take him after driving and wasting my time. Very unprofessional. All it would have taken was a call in the morning to let me know that it was going to be longer than expected on top of that whoever it was that I spoke with on the phone said well to be fair they didn’t know how far I lived. Why does that even matter?
