The Naked Dog

My dog Sam and I were having serious behavioral issues after I adopted her last year. Sam is extremely dog sensitive and seemed aggressive due to always barking at other people when we'd go on walks. I felt stuck, like I had hit a dead end with no idea where to begin. Reaching out to Allegra and the Naked Dog team was the best decision for us, within one session there was so much improvement and growth! I learned how to manage Sam and develop a proper relationship with her as her owner and within several hours with Allegra, Sam and I's relationship developed into a productive and goal focused one. Having a pro who knows exactly what to do gave me so much confidence and relief when it came to managing my dog's behavior! Now we can go on walks and I know exactly how to direct Sam's attention, and with the tips given to us by Allegra, I feel 100% comfortable knowing I can manage Sam's behavior.

I moved from the DC area where I tried all the treat trainings, agility and obedience classes available to develop better recall and discipline with our GSP. After moving to Austin our high energy pup was developing some bad habits and I wanted to nip them in the bud and strengthen his recall for him to be safe and have off leash freedom. Allegra’s program is hands down the most effective and helpful training program we did with our GSP. Setting boundaries was hard because we love our little guy like he is our child, but it was absolutely worth it to create a stronger relationship and give him the freedom to have fun without being in danger. 100% worth every penny!

I cannot rave enough about Allegra and The Naked Dog. We have a 10 yr old mini schnauzer that is beyond stubborn and set in her ways. About 9 months ago, we welcomed our first baby and needless to say our dog didn't take too kindly to sharing. We contacted The Naked Dog to help us control our dogs behavior and help create a more balanced house where everyone feels comfortable. On the first visit, Allegra quickly diagnosed the issues and provided helpful information on our dogs behavior . We learned how to create needed boundaries and rules while still being able to enjoy our dog and keep our baby safe. Two months later, our dog is feeling less anxious, we feel more empowered and our house is on it's way to being more balanced.

I started working with The Naked Dog a few months ago and I have seen such a huge transformation in my boxer puppy. He went from pulling to walking great on a leash. I love the fact that I can take him to off leash parks and he will listen to me. The weekly hikes and boarding services they provide are truly amazing. I used to dread going out of town but now feel so relieved to have him boarded with The Naked Dog. I know they are taking such great care of him and getting him the exercise he needs as a puppy.
