The Modern K9 dog training

I took my dog to The Modern K9 because she needed some behavioral training like walking on the leash without pulling and listening without having to repeat myself. I was skeptical at first because my dog is 5 years old and she is already set in her ways and I thought it would be difficult to train her but boy was I wrong! Corey had no problem training my dog and now she walks great on the leash and I don't have to repeat myself for her to listen! I highly recommend this service and it's worth the money! I couldn't of asked for a better trainer! Thank you so much Corey for all your help!

This is money well spent! We live in Baltimore City with no shortage of puppy hazards and distractions. Lucy, our 8 month old female lab, was every bit a kennel dog with zero training and no social skills. Her favorite activity prior to The Modern K9 was chasing leaves, eating rocks, and trying to run into the street after dogs she never met. Needless to say we needed some major help! After we enrolled her in puppy boot camp with Corey she is a new dog that we can really enjoy. She calmly relaxes in our office, sits on command, loose leash walks, and goes to her “place” when commanded. She is genuinely happier now with structure and purpose and will reap the benefits of being able to go everywhere with us safely. I cannot thank Corey and The Modern K9 company enough!

I was referred to Corey from a family member and was extremely impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and communication of dog training when I first spoke to him. We had a great conversation about my situation with my Australian Cattle Dog and we were able to tailor a great program together to combat the specific issues I was having as a dog owner. Sonny, my Australian cattle dog, was enrolled in his two week boarding program where he was able to address behavioral issues, leash training, and off leash training. Corey brought much needed structure into Sonny’s life and gave me the tools to continue Sonny’s successes from training to life at home. Sonny learned training through markers to create a foundation for motivation through food, improved focus on the owner, and better response to commands. The best part about Modern K9 dog training is that he will be there after boarding to answer any specific questions you might have. You have three training sessions, including the pick up, to go over what your dog learned and to make sure you are doing the necessary steps to build on the foundation corey provides. I’m looking forward to my next two training sessions where corey will address more specific situations to make life at home easier for Sonny and I. He is absolutely great with making the training easy to follow but most of all, he really cares about the dogs he works with. I was amazed how well Sonny responded to him and there was a mutual respect between them two. I would highly recommend using Modern K9 dog training to help with issues you might be having with your dog. He is the best!!!
