I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience we had with Richard and his team at The K9 Training Academy. From our very first session, it was clear that they genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. Our dog Luke has such a strong personality we were worried he would be to stubborn for any trainer. But we are now so happy and confident with your pup and can’t wait to take him to the next level with this amazing team. One thing I really appreciated is how they welcomed us into their K9 family, overall I highly recommend them and recommend checking their YouTube channel.

This company have been a fantastic experience for us and our Miniature Schnauzer, Oliver. The trainers are experts at what they do and were able to address Oliver’s issues with anxiety and aggression. The one-on-one sessions were particularly helpful, and the improvements in Oliver’s behavior have been incredible. The positive reinforcement methods they use really work. We’re very pleased with the results!

My German Shepherd Ares was 7 months old when he started to become aggressive towards strangers. I couldn’t control him with the little training we got at Petsmart (waste of time and money), so we had to do more. We found the k9 training academy in Orlando and were amazed by the all the videos of the dogs they trained. The phone consultation was very informative and we can tell they were experts. We are very happy with the outcome of the training we got after sending Ares to bootcamp for 6 weeks. It’s been real nice to be able to walk him without worrying. We recommend this for everyone.

This review is so LONG overdue! But, it has also given me a year to reflect on the incredible accomplishments thanks to the k9 training academy team. A year ago, my dog, Lex , was extremely reactive to people & dogs. After an off-leash dog attacked us, his behavior issues completely exacerbated. He would resource guard anything & everything. He lacked trust in his owners, and would bite us just trying to put on his harness. He would bark and go absolutely nuts on dogs that were even across the street. AND on top of all of that- he had the worst separation anxiety, we couldn’t leave the house. We tried countless trainers, and never saw a glimpse of improvement. Richard & his team changed our perspective within a week. I would call him the Tony Robbin’s of dog training, but the truth is, he is simply a caring, passionate, and amazing dog trainer, that creates clear language for you to communicate with your dog. After the 4 week program, K9 Training had taught me how to clearly and effectively navigate every one of Lexs problems. They provided a solution for every concern. Now, a year later, we are able to walk past 50 dogs a day (on the same sidewalk!!!!) and Jet doesn’t even bat an eye. We can play fetch outside, and I have no doubt that Jet will recall when told. I could go on & on & on & on about the million reasons this place has changed our life for the better but I would probably run out of characters allowed on reviews. 100000000000000000000 stars!!!
