The K9 Blueprint provides professional dog training in Spring Hill and throughout the Tampa Bay area. We specialize in board-and-train programs, on-leash and off-leash obedience, puppy foundations, behavior modification, and training for dogs struggling with reactivity, aggression, anxiety, and other challenging behaviors. Programs are customized around each dog’s temperament, history, and real-life needs. Board-and-train clients receive progress updates throughout the program, a private go-home lesson, owner education, and ongoing weekly lessons pertaining to the program completed.

To stop excessive barking, start by identifying the cause, whether it's boredom, anxiety, or a response to external stimuli. Once you understand why your dog is barking, you can address the root cause. Here are some strategies:

Ruby, my lab puppy is the fifth dog that I have owned. I always trained them myself, but this time was different. Ruby is very active, strong and a stubborn girl. I was struggling every day with her. It was a daily battle with my two cats and two other small dogs, not to mention my young grandchildren. But that all changed when I met Hannah from The K9 Blueprint. Literally, one visit with her gave me so much help with Ruby. I did private lessons, and then I did the two week residency . I can happily say that Hannah has transformed Ruby into the dog I dreamed of. Ruby now gets along with my cats and other dogs. She actually can play calmly with the kids. I doubted it, but I was proven wrong. She comes on command every single time! She heals like a show dog.

We sought out the K9 Blueprint after getting a new dog. We were having behavioral issues between our established six-year-old dog in our new two-year-old dog. Hannah was honest, upfront, and walked us through the process of what to expect. In our particular instance, being able to utilize structure and discipline with both ourselves, and the dogs helped us achieve our goal of having well behaved dogs. K9 Blueprint gave us the tools to understand our dogs, encourage and discipline their behavior as needed, and create a safer environment for them both to live. These tools have been exceptionally helpful and navigating taking our animals out in public from pet stores to farmer’s markets. I can now Take my dog out and have confidence in navigating situations that previously would have been overwhelming for our dogs.
We often utilize The K9 Blueprint boarding. I never fear that The K9 Blueprint would put my dog in a compromising situation, or that my dog is poorly cared for during their time there. I never have to worry that the K9 Blueprint will put my dog in a yard that has an unsafe person to animal ratio.
I could not recommend the K9 Blueprint enough for anyone that need training for their dog or needs assistance with navigating their dog’s behavior issues.

We rescued a 5-year-old 96 pound, strong and stubborn Labrador Retriever. Going for a walk consisted of him dragging me by the leash as I held on with both hands. Hannah came to our rescue and transformed him into an obedient and much calmer dog after on leash and off leash training. After raising 5 other labs we thought we knew how to handle a dog, but Hannah also had to train us on how to handle our current dog. We had lessons at her house and follow up lessons at our home. Hannah is always available to answer question and very supportive. If anyone is thinking of having their dog trained professionally, we would wholeheartedly recommend Hannah from The K9 Blueprint!

I have a 3 year old Rescue ShihTzu. He was a runner. Every chance he got he would find a way out of my double fenced yard. He would not come when called and if by chance he decided to come, it was at his own pace with lots of stops and ignoring me. He was food aggressive, would bite visitors, bark nonstop at neighbors. I was so worried he would get out and get hit by a car or caught by a coyote. I called Hannah. She worked miracles with him. He comes, sits, down, heels and place. No more crazy barking, biting visitors and isn’t food aggressive anymore. He is a new obedient dog. Hannah is absolutely amazing and truly works miracles while loving the dogs she works with. Hannah also trained my daughter’s German shepherd. Absolutely the best well mannered German Shepherd. Hannah is a Dog Whisperer!!!!!

Hannah has done a terrific job with our Luna. She had her for a month and she came back a new pup. As the alpha of her litter, Luna pushed the envelope with us. We love her dearly, but saw she needed “special attention” to get her where we needed her to be as a future service dog to our beloved daughter. Luna has come so far due to Hannah’s training. What I appreciate most about Hannah is her accessibility and fantastic attitude and demeanor - she is such a fine person and totally devoted to her craft.
