The K-9 Center

We boarded our 11 month old puppy here during a family vacation. When we picked him up 9 days later, he was very thin and we noticed a severe personality change. Our puppy is scared of everyone, he pays attention to our hands to make sure we aren't about to strike him. He came back with some scratches as well. I wish we had read some of the reviews before boarding our puppy here because we never would've left him at this place had we known we were subjecting our dog to physical and mental abuse. Reconditioning him to be comfortable around us again is going to take us who knows how long. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Edit: probably several years too late but shortly after I left this review, our pup took a turn for the worst. He got increasingly aggressive and wound up biting my mom. My parents made the extremely difficult decision to give the dog up. He only worsened at the shelter, and shortly after was put down after going after some of the workers there. It was a tough time for my family as we had such a sweet boy for too short a time 💔

My Ghosty the husky is hands down the most difficult and beautiful psycho dog we’ve ever had. And an absolute excellent example of a “before and after.” The trainers are compassionate, brilliant, and wonderful to work with. The changes we’ve seen in Ghost- his confidence, his decision making, and our individual relationships with him are MASSIVE and the reason why we will be going to K-9 center as long as we have dogs. I cannot possibly recommend this place more.
