The Hyper Pup Dog Training

I have had big dogs all my life and have never had problems training any of them. Until now, that is! I got a 10 week old rescue puppy in Dec 2024. It's been terrible and I kept thinking that in time he would settle down and I would be able to train him properly. That didn't happen. I was at the end of my rope, frustrated, confused as to what I was doing wrong etc. I finally made the decision to go to a professional trainer. I saw all of the great reviews for Armando and decided to go for it. He quickly responded to me and quickly set up a meet and greet with me. I was impressed by his mannerism when we met. He asked me a few questions, but most of the time he was observing Freddie and analyzing him. He was spot on with his analysis of Freddie (and me)! Armando suggested that I use a different collar and he put one on Freddie while I was there. He worked with Freddie with the collar and was able to get Freddie to be calm, to sit, to walk by his side - all with few (if any) verbal commands. He communicated what he wanted from Freddie through the collar and leash. Armando then showed me how to properly use the collar. After an hour of a meet and greet, I went home with a different dog. I still had much work to do with him, but I could tell something different happened to him there. Since then, I have purchased the collar Armando suggested, and have had a tremendous amount of success with Freddie! We are now building the bond we should have built way back when!! Even though I signed up for 6 classes of training, Armando told me he didn't think I needed that much which was an extremely honest and honorable thing to do. You can tell that Armando really cares about dogs, really cares about humans and their relationships with their dogs, and really wants to help. I was an educator for 30 years and I know good teaching methods when I see them. Armando is great with teaching dogs, but he is also great with teaching people. He explains things really well, is patient, is kind and just an amazing person!! Thank you so very much Armando!

Thank you Armando for your board and train service offering. Our energetic pup is so well mannered in the home upon returning. Our outside behavior is off to a good start and I feel with the excellent instruction and training videos you have compiled, I have a better understanding of the necessary relationship to be successful. I feel prepared to adequately continue training and reinforcing learned behaviors.

Armando has been a god send for our family of three French Bulldogs! After working with a few behaviorists/ trainers in the 518 with little to no success we have finally seen MAJOR positive changes with our three pups, especially our 5yo male, Max! After a big move to a busy city things really “hit the fan.” Max could not walk out of our condo without being immediately in full blown panic. He was barking/lunging at any and everything. Human, dogs, random objects, you name it. He was also severely resource guarding me from the other pups in our home. After just two sessions with Armando big things started to change and things are getting better by the day! Armando is thorough, he gives detailed instructions and trouble shoots incase the first way does not work. He LISTENS and gives real world advice to fit your situation! He’s extremely personable and supportive. My only regret is not contacting him years ago and wasting so much time and money on other trainers. We will forever be grateful to Armando!

We had a 3 1/2 month old Newfoundland puppy from rescue who had been abandoned after a fire by her previous owners. I was struggling with crate and potty training and just trying to teach her basic manners. Enrolled her in Armando‘s board and train program for three weeks at the end of that time she was a completely different dog she had learned sit and stay, down and stay, come and walk very very nicely on a loose leash. She was very young, but even at her young age Armando did extremely well with her. She will be going back in a few months for some follow up and additional training. In the meantime, we are working with the videos that Armando created for us and our constantly reinforcing what she has already learned. I highly recommend Armando and his program.
