The Happy Hound Behavior and Obedience

We started lessons about a year after adopting our dog Mac. He was a rescue and very reactive to pretty much anything you could think off. After a couple of incidents with off leash dogs during our walks, we decided to find Mac some training. Sami has helped us learn tools that help Mac immensely with his reactivity and separation anxiety. He’s a completely different dog on leash outside and in the home. Mac is more engaged with us, does not pull or lunge and has not reacted badly to things in months. I can’t thank Sami enough.

I could not recommend Sam enough! She has helped us so much with our dog Caleb. We had struggled with Caleb’s reactivity towards other dogs as well as his confidence and obedience in general. We saw a drastic improvement with Caleb just after the FIRST lesson! We were thrilled! The training has helped Caleb so much but better yet it has taught my partner and I how to be an advocate for Caleb and understand his training needs. We have learned so much from working with Sam, she is extremely knowledgeable and flexible in her approach. She teaches you how to implement the right training practices for your specific dog and gives you the tools for success.

If you are looking for a dog trainer - no need to look any further. You found THE one. Sami is not only extremely knowledgable but she truly cares for your dog’s wellbeing and training. She tailors each dog’s training to your family’s and dog’s needs. Our dog went from lunging, being very impulsive, needing two hands to hold on to a leash to now walking calmly beside me while I take our daughter on a walk in a stroller. I cannot speak more highly about Sami. She is professional and knowledgable, but also has one of the kindest and warmest hearts you will ever come across. I wish I found her sooner and pursued dog training sooner with her. We cannot thank her enough for what she has provided for our family.
