The Green Dog

Where do I begin? It was like Lord of the Flies. 4 crazy dogs with no rules. Jumping, counter surfing, barking, sibling rivalry/aggression and every other bad behavior one could imagine. And for sure you'd know it was me with my dogs pulling me at warp speed down my street. I was miserable. And then from the heavens...Lisa and The Green Dog! After two weeks of board and train, my dogs are incredible! We and they are living our best lives. The are obedient, well behaved and happy! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to recreate the magic from her home but that's when the real training started - mine! Lisa is smart, patient, no nonsense and results oriented. We tried several trainers over the years and saw almost no results and after only a few weeks with Lisa, we have 4 dogs that are a joy to live with. She is a gift and I am truly grateful for the life she gave all of us. There are not enough words to thank her and whatever the highest recommendation I can give is not enough. SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!

Lisa is a talented and successful dog trainer. As first-time dog owners, she was instrumental in helping us establish good habits and behaviors from the start. She understands and respects dogs and has a great approach to training them. Our dog has learned how to behave around strangers and come to us on command. Lisa exhibits patience and kindness with a firm hand…our puppy adores her and we think she’s pretty special too!

I have two regrets with Lisa, one, there aren't more stars and two, she's in Charlotte and we are in San Antonio! We rescued a German Sheperd, Greyhound mix that has grown into an 85lbs cuddler. At the time, it had been 16 years since we had owned a pet and we now lived in a high-rise in urban Arlington, Virginia. Gibby proved to be choosey about who he liked, but was a great judge of character! Lisa read him and matched his training to his personality. She came to our home and neighborhood so she could better understand what he was exposed to. After the puppy training we had a well-behaved, obedient dog. If not for her training, we would not have been able to keep Gibby. We followed on with the off-leash training and continued to enjoy success. She invested in Gibby and us to help us have a successful experience. Best of all we made a new, life-long friend in Lisa.
