Abbi puts everyone at ease including the dogs- right off the bat. My dog went from growling at her on first lesson to wagging like crazy and giving her kisses from the open car window!!! A HUGE jump for my boy! All the dogs that were on my circuit improved even the hard core cases- and my boy!! Abbi gives you homework to do and if you do it your dog will be happier and better behaved. Highly recommend!!

I reached out to Abbi and The Good Dog, after my 4 year old golden retriever lunged at a pickup truck, while on our early morning walk. I fell to the ground for the umpteenth time and really hurt myself. I told myself that ,this was it. We had taken to walking in the dark in the very early morning hours, on the back roads, when few cars were around, as to avoid any interactions with any vehicles. In the 4 years with Winnie, I've had a wrist fracture, hurt my back and neck and shoulder, had multiple falls, all from walking with my trusted life companion, who I love more than anything but hate that it had come to this. All my people, (kids, sister, mother, friends), thought I was crazy to keep Winnie, they pleaded with me to find another home for her. Walking is my refuge and since Winnie came into my life, during Covid, I had to rethink my refuge. Winnie is a beautiful, sweet, golden, who was born with anxiety, go figure, a golden .Her anxiety manifested itself with "leash aggression", anytime I would walk or run, and we come in contact with a car or truck, (in contact meaning, she sees a car, hears a car, or senses a car coming), she reacts and lunges after the car or truck, as if to take it down, she's 86 pounds and this makes controlling her impossible. I've spent so much money on behaviorist, drugs , trainers, harnesses, etc, and to no avail...nothing worked. That was until I heard about Abbi and her business, The Good Dog. I reached out to Abbi after that fateful last fall, we talked about her program , she suggested Winnie come and stay with her for a week, while she accessed her, worked with her and then worked with both of us. I actually hesitated, as other than my sisters, I'd never left Winnie with anyone. Then I realized that this was my last straw. Winnie spent a week with Abbi, she contacted me daily, sent videos and was encouraged by many things in her personality, no one had ever said that about Winnie. So, I write this message to say that Abbi ,and the good dog, have changed my life and Winnie's life. We use an e-collar that only uses vibrations, Winnie is calm and happy and loves her life , we walk every morning , at 7 am , when it is bright and beautiful ,we come in contact with cars and truck and we no longer have the issues from the past. In my wildest dreams, I would never have believed that this could happen. Thank you Abbi, you really have changed my life and Winnie's life. All my best, Kelly McGuill
